With the rapid development of new energy industry, supercapacitors have become key devices in field storage. To forecast remaining useful life (RUL) supercapacitors, we introduce a technology that integrates variational mode decomposition (VMD) with bidirectional long short-term memory (BiLSTM) neural network. Firstly, aging experiments under various temperatures and voltages were carried out to obtain data. Then, VMD was implemented decompose data, which helped eliminate disturbances, including capacity recovery test errors. hyperparameters BiLSTM adjusted, employing sparrow search algorithm (SSA) improve consistency between input data network structure. After obtaining optimal BiLSTM, decomposed into for prediction. The experimental results showed VMD-SSA-BiLSTM model proposed this paper has high prediction accuracy robustness different voltages, an average RMSE 0.112519, decrease 44.3% compared minimum 0.031426.

The slow kinetics of the alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxidation (HOR) must be upgraded to achieve a renewable cycle. Transition metal phosphides transition carbides exhibit excellent activity toward diverse catalytic reactions. synthesis MoP-Mo2C heterogeneous nanoparticles coated with porous carbon network (MoP-Mo2C/C) via one-step heat treatment was reported, which exhibited low overpotential at 10 mA cm–2 (102.1 mV), Tafel slope (53.1 mV dec–1), stability (96 h) for HER. In addition, MoP-Mo2C/C performance HOR, an exchange current density 1.40 cm–2. Density functional theory simulations indicated that electronic structure optimized, its Gibbs free energy approximately zero, is origin fast kinetics. This work provides promising strategy designing high-performance bifunctional electrocatalysts.

Efficient and durable electrocatalysts fabricated by using nanosized nonprecious-metal-based materials have attracted considerable attention for use in the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Understanding performance disparities structure-property relationships of various nanostructures is crucial optimizing their applications. Herein, CoP nanoparticles encompassed within a CoFeP shell (named CoP/CoFeP) are fabricated. The mesoporous enables effective mass transport, affords abundant active sites, ensures accessibility hybrid interfaces between CoFeP. Therefore, encased CoP/CoFeP nanocubes exhibit excellent OER catalytic activity with an overpotential 266 mV at current density 10 mA cm-2 alkaline media, superior to reference hollow commercial RuO2. Experimental characterization theoretical calculations show that structure rich Fe-doped electronic interactions CoFeP, as well accelerates structural reconstruction exposes more yielding enhanced performance. This study aims inspire further work on nonprecious-metal catalysts tailored properties OER.

Developing efficient and durable electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzers represents a significant challenge. Herein, cobalt-ruthenium oxide nano-heterostructures are successfully synthesized on carbon cloth (CoOx /RuOx -CC) acidic OER through simple fast solution combustion strategy. The rapid oxidation process endows CoOx -CC with abundant interfacial sites defect structures, which enhances number of active charge transfer at electrolyte-catalyst interface, promoting kinetics. Moreover, electron supply effect support allows electrons to from Co Ru during process, is beneficial alleviate ion leaching over-oxidation sites, improving catalyst activity stability. As self-supported electrocatalyst, displays an ultralow overpotential 180 mV 10 mA cm-2 OER. Notably, PEM electrolyzer using as anode can be operated 100 stably h. Mechanistic analysis shows that strong catalyst-support interaction redistribute electronic structure RuO bond weaken its covalency, thereby optimizing binding energy intermediates lowering barrier.
