Pyrazole or 1H-pyrazole, a five-membered 1,2-diazole, is found in several approved drugs and some bioactive natural products. A myriad number of derivatives this small molecule have been reported clinical preclinical studies for the potential treatment diseases. The containing pyrazole nucleus has increased significantly last 10 years. Some best-selling class are ibrutinib, ruxolitinib, axitinib, niraparib baricitinib, used to treat different types cancers; lenacapavir HIV; riociguat pulmonary hypertension; sildenafil erectile dysfunction. Several aniline-derived compounds as potent antibacterial agents with selective activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus vancomycin-resistant enterococci.
