Isoorientin
(ISO)
is
a
natural
lignan
glycoside
flavonoid
found
in
various
plants,
including
Charcot
and
Stonecrop.
ISO
exhibits
diverse
physiological
pharmacological
effects,
such
as
antioxidative,
anti-inflammatory,
hepatoprotective,
antiviral,
antianxiety,
anti-myocardial
ischaemic
properties,
well
lipid
metabolism
regulation.
This
study
investigated
the
impact
of
supplementation
on
oxidative
stress
accumulation
porcine
early
embryos,
along
with
its
underlying
mechanisms.
Porcine
embryos
were
cultured
vitro
under
different
concentrations
(0,
1,
10,
100
nM).
The
results
revealed
that
10
nM
significantly
enhanced
blastocyst
rate
total
embryonic
cell
count
vitro.
ISO-treated
exhibited
reduced
reactive
oxygen
species
levels
elevated
glutathione
compared
to
untreated
group.
In
addition,
treatment
increased
expression
key
antioxidant
regulator
Nrf2,
improved
mitochondrial
function,
droplet
accumulation.
Concurrently,
embryo
autophagy
apoptosis
decreased.
Furthermore,
upregulated
antioxidant-related
genes
(SOD1,
SOD2,
CAT)
biogenesis
related
(NRF1,
NRF2,
SIRT1),
while
downregulating
synthesis-related
(SREBP1
FASN).
Additionally,
hydrolysis-related
(ACADS)
elevated.
These
findings
collectively
suggest
may
facilitate
development
pigs
by
ameliorating
metabolism.

Abstract
Imidacloprid
(IMI)
is
a
neonicotinoid
insecticide
with
the
highest
global
market
share,
and
IMI
exposure
in
environment
can
negatively
affect
many
nontarget
organisms
(a
general
term
for
affected
by
drugs
other
than
target
organisms).
Resveratrol
(RSV),
non‐flavonoid
polyphenolic
organic
compound
derived
from
peanuts,
grapes,
plants,
has
anti‐inflammatory
antioxidant
effects.
It
currently
unclear
how
RSV
protects
against
cell
damage
caused
IMI.
Therefore,
we
established
an
experimental
model
of
chicken
lymphocyte
lines
exposed
to
110
μg/mL
and/or
0.5
μM
24
h.
According
results,
markedly
raised
intracellular
reactive
oxygen
species
levels
diminished
activity
cellular
enzymes
(CAT,
SOD,
GPx),
leading
MDA
accumulation
decreased
T‐AOC.
JNK

ERK

(CHE)
is

flavonoid
substance
that
exists
in
many
plants.
It
has
various
physiological
and
pharmacological
effects,
including
anti-inflammatory,
antioxidant,
anti-tumor,
protective
activity,
especially
for
the
cardiovascular
system
liver.
Among
common
livestock
embryos,
porcine
embryos
are
often
considered
high-quality
objects
studying
antioxidant
mechanisms
of
oocytes.
Because
contain
high
levels
lipids,
they
more
vulnerable
to
external
stimuli,
which
affect
development.
Our
study
explored

supplementation
on
oxidative

Ageing
is
a
natural
process
characterized
by
time-dependent
decline
of
physiological
integrity

compromises
functionality

inevitably
leads
to
death.
This
also
quite
relevant
in
major
human
pathologies,
being
primary
risk
factor
neurodegenerative
diseases,
metabolic
disorders,
cardiovascular
diseases
musculoskeletal
disorders.
Bearing
this
mind,
it
not
surprising
research
aiming
at
improving
health
during
has
burst
the
last
decades.
Importantly,
hallmarks
ageing
phenotype
have
been
identified,
knowledge
for
future
studies
towards
identification
putative
pharmaceutical
targets,
enabling
development
preventive/therapeutic
strategies
improve
longevity.
In
context,
aromatic
plants
emerged
as
source
potential
bioactive
volatile
molecules,
mainly
monoterpenes,
with
many
referring
their
anti-ageing
potential.
Nevertheless,
an
integrated
review
on
current
lacking,
several
approaches
studying
isolated
or
overall
effect,
without
depicting
possible
mechanisms
action.
Herein,
we
aim
provide
updated
systematization
monoterpenes
recently
proposed
hallmarks,
highlight
main
action
already
well
chemical
entity–activity
relations.
By
gathering
categorizing
available
scattered
information,
identify
important
gaps
could
help
pave
way
field.
