Abstract
Posttraumatic
stress
disorder
(PTSD)
is
associated
with
poor
hippocampal
function
and
disrupted
pattern
recognition.
Cannabis
use
highly
prevalent
in
individuals
PTSD,
yet
the
impact
on
these
cognitive
functions
poorly
understood.
Participants
(
n
=
111)
a

of
PTSD
symptoms
without
regular
cannabis
completed
mnemonic
similarity
task.

Background:
Twelve
separate
streams

empirical
data

cannabis-induced
accelerated
aging
including
hormonal,
mitochondriopathic,
cardiovascular,
hepatotoxic,
immunological,
genotoxic,
epigenotoxic,
disruption
chromosomal
physiology,
congenital
anomalies,
cancers
inheritable
tumorigenesis,
telomerase
inhibition
and
elevated
mortality.
Methods:
Results
from
recently
published
longitudinal
epigenomic
screen
were
analyzed
with
regard
to
the
results
recent
large
epidemiological
studies
causal
impacts
cannabis.
We
also
integrate
theoretical
syntheses
prior

these
combined
results.
Results:
Cannabis
dependence

recapitulates
many
key
features
aging,
but
is
characterized
by
both
age-defining

illnesses

Abstract
Background

Hypothesis
Up

43%
of
people
with
schizophrenia
have
a
lifetime
cannabis
use
disorder
(CUD).
Tetrahydrocannabinol
(THC)
has
been
shown
exacerbate
psychosis
in
dose-dependent
manner,
but
little
research
assessed
its
effects
on
co-occurring
CUD
(SCZ-CUD).
In
this
double-dummy,
placebo-controlled
trial
(total
n
=
130),
we
hypothesized
that
modest
dose
THC
would
worsen
cognitive
function
not
psychosis.

saúde

os
quadros
esquizofrênicos,
uma
vez
que
cerca
26.6%
desses
pacientes
sofrem
do
Transtorno
pelo
uso
da
(TUC).
O
dessa
droga
frequente
em
desordens
psicóticas,
como
esquizofrenia
e
também
parece
estimular
psicóticos
isolados.
objetivo
trabalho
elucidar
associação
entre
o
cannabis
seu
estabelecimento/progressão
Metodologia:

revisão

acerca

esquizofrenia.
