The chicken gut microbiota plays important roles in host physiology and well-being. It can be impacted by several management environmental factors like the use of antibiotic growth promoters (AGP) heat stress (HS). Probiotics, essential oils (EO), vitamins (such as folic acid) are bioactive substances that could potentially modulate promote its resilience to stressful factors, especially when supplied early during embryonic development. This study evaluated modulating potential ovo delivered probiotics, acid (FA), + in-water EO broiler chickens, compared an in-feed AGP, under HS challenge. Results from this indicate HS, treatments modified ceca bacterial populations suggest microbiota-mediated role AGP promotion is related improved biosynthesis nutrients (amino acids especially) utilization carbon sources derived diet microbiome.

Abstract. The use of medicinal plant extracts in animal production has recently increased due to the discovery previously unreported side effects antibiotics, including cumulation their toxic metabolites food, as well occurrence antibiotic resistance microorganisms. Non-therapeutic antimicrobials is also associated with spread multiple drug resistance, that have never been used agriculture. It long known components substances ability inhibit bacterial growth. becoming common practice essential oils improve feed utilization by ruminants, and for antimicrobial properties. purpose this work was evaluate metabolic phytobiotic joint controlling microbial load. According results obtained, it clear addition other positive expressed membrane stabilizing antioxidant properties, but there are some negative difficulty digestion absorption lipid nutrients. At same time, combined showed itself optimal, good effect, while mitigating or eliminating identified when using enrofloxacin separately, namely, immunosuppressive depressive effects, absence manifestations impaired fat-soluble Scientific novelty. data obtained will expand range agents poultry farming, allow more flexible schemes control load on body birds.

The use of humic substances (HS) in agriculture is promising, as this fraction organic matter can benefit the growth and development plants animals, promoting sustainability. This study aimed to evaluate impact different diets broiler chickens with HS on zootechnical indicators such feed consumption, weight gain, conversion, efficiency, small intestine size, carcass yield, average bird weight, mortality breeding viability during period from 11 42 days age, eight experimental diets. experiment followed a randomized block design four replications for each treatment, totaling 32 units consisting 10 birds each, 320 birds. were: Diet 1: basal diet; 2: diet + 40 mg HS; 3: 80 4: 160 5: 6: 640 7: 1280 8: 366 g.ton-1 performance-enhancing antibiotic - zinc bacitracin at 15%. be used additive broilers, especially starter phase (11-21 age), most effective concentration productive performance being kg-1, adequately replace traditional antimicrobials.

Abstract Oilseeds play a key role in the nutrition of monogastric animals. The aim study was to analyze basic chemical composition various seeds: canola ( Brassica napus L. var. ), camelina Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz), hemp Cannabis L.), soybean Glycine max Merr.), nettle Urtica dioica grape Vitis vinifera sunflower Helianthus annuus and wheat germ Triticum aestivum L.) determine fatty acid profile oils extracted from these seeds. seeds had highest crude ash content (12.96 g·100 g −1 dry matter, P=0.014). were characterized by protein (38.02 P=0.021). contained ether extract (53.1 P=0.019) lowest fiber levels (2.23 P=0.031). In terms profile, oil level (P=0.023) saturated acids (SFAs). whereas (P=0.032) polyunsaturated (PUFAs), with predominance linoleic acid, i.e. 71.3 64.2 extract, respectively (P=0.004). exhibited amount α-linolenic PUFA family (33.9 P<0.001). most favorable values atherogenic (P=0.009) thrombogenic (P<0.001) indices determined for camelina, sunflower, oils. analyzed used as feed material constitute an important source acids, protein, energy, partially or completely meeting demand nutrients diets Continued research on use animal increase production efficiency support health may lead their wider husbandry sector.
