Abstract
One
of
the
salient
themes,
both
in
social
network
analysis
literature
and
its
applications
to
migration
research,
is
a
shift
more
dynamic
conceptualization
(migrant)
networks.
To
elaborate
on
nature
migrant
networks,
I
reconstructed
examined
support
networks
134
Filipino
nurses,
domestic
workers,
care
workers
New
York
London
three
phases
(pre‐migration,
initial
adjustment,
current
situation)
through
factors
that
significantly
shaped
their
stability
or
evolution
at
micro‐
macro‐levels.
At
micro‐level,
shifts
respondents'
were
vis‐à‐vis
biographical
events
transitions.
macro‐level,
immigration
policies
pathways
also
discussed
as
shaping
dynamics.
It
was
further
observed
transnational
ties
re‐emerged
relevant
connections
after
adjustment
phase
while
intermediary
countries
are
geographically
mobile

integration

transnationalism
