This study examines the effectiveness of mobile-assisted feedback in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. The researchers used WhatsApp, social communication application, to give verbal and written on students' mistakes. 12 students participated were given 16 task-oriented speaking tasks over period six weeks they asked send their records individually via WhatsApp. After was completed, Five Likert Scale applied students’ perceptions Then, interviews conducted with obtain from them detailed information about positive negative experiences taking findings show that responded positively it played an important role improving skills. Based results, is recommended applications smartphones be language enhance learning experiences.

Cross-cultural communication apprehension (CCA) can be a significant challenge for international students, impacting their learning experiences. This study examined the Jordanian students’ perspectives of and experiences in cross cultural Apprehension Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) where English is medium instruction. employed qualitative while participants were 16 PhD students at UUM. The sampling this was purposive researcher selected homogeneous strategy, collected data through face to interview with participants. findings research question divided into two main themes sub-themes. first theme language barriers, which consists four sub-themes: limited proficiency, pronunciation difficulties, grammar challenges Cultural context styles. second anxiety, includes shyness vocabularies. has various implications on overall University Malaysia.
