Abstract Olive mill wastewater (OMW) is the main effluent resulting in huge amounts from olive oil manufacturing. This mostly composed of organic matter and polyphenolic compounds, known for their antimicrobial activity compromise biological treatment. work investigates impact co-digestion with fruits vegetable waste (FVW), fish (FW), cow dung (CD) under mesophilic conditions at two different inoculum-to-substrate ratios. The effect on biomethane yield, volatile solids reduction, polyphenol removal efficiency were evaluated. Moreover, kinetic modeling was applied to describe production. OMW CD an I/S ratio 2:1, a mixture consisting 33% OMW, FVW, FW 3:1 achieved yields 155.00 NmLCH4 gVS− 1 132.20 1, respectively after 49-day retention time 37°C whereas mono-digestion completely inhibited. These treatments demonstrated strong performance terms removal, achieving rates 76%, 81%, 95% 84%, respectively. Similarly, logistic function model provided good fit predicting production, high R² values 0.9941 0.9930,
