Mental health issues in Nigeria are pervasive, yet the stigma surrounding them limits open discussions and access to care. Music artists, activists, therapists have emerged as key advocates, using music a platform raise awareness challenge misconceptions. This study explored role of Nigerian activism shaping mental discourse, highlighting their contributions public understanding. Additionally, examined how could influence policies country. A qualitative approach was used, involving in-depth interviews with seven participants, including musicians engaged advocacy. Thematic analysis employed identify themes related awareness, advocacy, intersection activism. Findings revealed that while is powerful tool for raising fostering emotional expression, it has had limited impact on policy change. Themes resilience, inclusivity, advocacy significant, showing influences perceptions. However, participants emphasized need government involvement translate into effective policies. While proven generating reducing stigma, its ability drive changes remains limited.

Through this poster submission I present my ongoing investigation into the dynamics of interpersonal relationships within online fandom communities, specifically focusing on BTS community known as ARMY. Amid digital era's paradox increased content creation and consumption alongside declining meaningful social interactions, hope to identify communities unique spaces where not only thrive but contribute sustainability these communities. Using a case study approach ARMY fandom, which expanded during pandemic, research aims dissect nuances relationship formation sustainability. combination literature review, diary studies, interviews, ethnography, explore how fans engage, support each other, nurturing sense community. Initial findings highlight interplay between personal collective identity formation, supportive role spaces, impact well-being, profound belonging among members. This offers valuable perspectives designing that foster strong connections.
