In this study, the CGPT solve competitive mathematics problems from AMC (American Mathematics Competitions) with varying type complexity was evaluated. were categorized into five fields specified number theory, geometry, algebra, combinatorics, computation, then further three different levels (easy, normal, hard). Results indicated that performed best in theory computation categories but did not perform well subjects such as geometry combinatorics. On average, 50 60 percent correctly solved CGPT; however, it could most higher complexity. This point failed apply concepts crucial solving specific problems. Therefore, found be weak skills involving spatial reasoning problem-solving.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-based tools are becoming increasingly important in mathematics education due to their potential enrich learning experiences, provide customized solutions, increase the effectiveness of processes. This case study was conducted examine impact tool experiences on pre-service teachers' (PMTs) mathematical concept images. As a result content analysis, data were categorized under themes component, understanding, association, changes PMTs' images after ChatGPT examined according these themes. Although not always, experience had an effect general. In particular, PMTs mentioned more components that directly related concepts, while associating concepts with different terms decreased. However, there partial transformations understandings concepts. While subjective knowledge decreased, objective increased unnecessary repetitions conclusion, contributed development PMTs, but this contribution at same level for all

ABSTRACT Background Increasingly, students are using ChatGPT to assist them in learning and even completing their assessments, raising concerns of academic integrity loss critical thinking skills. Many articles suggested educators redesign assessments that more ‘Generative‐AI‐resistant’ focus on assessing higher order However, there is a lack attempt quantify at different cognitive levels provide empirical study insights ChatGPT's performance levels, which will affect how assessments. Objectives Educators need new information well performs future assess this paradigm. This paper attempts fill the gap research by spreadsheet modelling tested four prompt engineering settings, knowledge support assessment redesign. Our proposed methodology can be applied other course modules for achieve respective designs actions. Methods We evaluated 3.5 solving spreadsheets questions with multiple linked test items categorised according revised Bloom's taxonomy. compared accuracy settings namely Zero‐Shot‐Baseline (ZSB), Zero‐Shot‐Chain‐of‐Thought (ZSCoT), One‐Shot (OS), One‐Shot‐Chain‐of‐Thought (OSCoT), establish tackled technical each setting, setting effective enhancing level. Results found was good up Level 3 taxonomy ZSB, its decreased as level increased. From 4 onwards, it did not perform well, committing many mistakes. ZSCoT would modest improvements 5, making possible concern instructors. OS very significant Levels 4, while OSCoT needed improvement 5. None prompts able improve response quality 6. Conclusions concluded must cognizant questions, enhanced from suitable prompts. To develop students' abilities, we provided recommendations aim mitigate negative impact student leverage enhance learning, considering levels.

This paper explores the integration of ChatGPT, a state-of-the-art language model, in domain cultural heritage Artificial Intelligence-based e-learning, with specific focus on analysis and interpretation lyrics poems. Cultural preservation education have increasingly turned to Intelligence (AI) technologies enhance learning experiences promote understanding appreciation diverse artistic expressions. We conducted an initial empirical study how ChatGPT can assist learners analysing interpreting poetic works, offering insights into historical, cultural, literary significance embedded within verses. Our findings highlight ChatGPT's significant potential but also major weaknesses respect poetry lyrics. was found particularly good field content. Additionally, showed very performance analogy identification, demonstrating broad knowledge base encompassing various form poetry, from Ancient Greek works ecclesiastic hymns modern compositions. However, opportunities for enhancement are evident translation historical context provision. Finally, weakest aspect its factual accuracy, occasionally producing errors without indicating uncertainty responses. Consequently, while displays substantial promise, application e-learning settings is not mature due observed inaccuracies. Furthermore, we introduced MUSILYAN, specialised software tool designed musicological lyrical analysis, complementing capabilities. While Chat-GPT excels natural generation, MUSILYAN offers structured semantic content management thematic organisation The holds promise enhancing exploration
