RDF-star has been proposed as an extension of RDF to make statements about statements. Libraries and graph stores have started adopting RDF-star, but the generation data remains largely unexplored. To allow generating from heterogeneous data, RML-star was RML. However, no system developed so far that implements specification. In this work, we present Morph-KGCstar, which extends Morph-KGC materialization engine generate datasets. We validate Morph-KGCstar by running test cases derived N-Triples-star syntax tests apply it two real-world use biomedical open science domains. compare performance our approach against other methods (SPARQL-Anything), showing scales better for large input datasets, is slower when processing multiple smaller files.

The European Union's ban on animal testing for cosmetic products and their ingredients, combined with the lack of validated animal-free methods, poses challenges in evaluating potential repeated-dose organ toxicity. To address this, innovative strategies like Next-Generation Risk Assessment (NGRA) are being explored, integrating historical data new mechanistic insights from non-animal New Approach Methodologies (NAMs). This paper introduces TOXIN knowledge graph (TOXIN KG), a tool designed to retrieve toxicological information focus liver-related data. KG uses graph-structured semantic technology integrates through ontologies, ensuring interoperable representation. primary source is safety ingredients scientific opinions issued by Scientific Committee Consumer Safety between 2009 2019. ToxRTool automates reliability assessment toxicity studies, while Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry System (SMILES) notation standardizes chemical identification, enabling silico prediction via implementation Organization Economic Co-operation Development Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship Toolbox (OECD QSAR Toolbox). Ontology-based data access focuses on enabling query evaluation over heterogeneous relational databases according to the model represented by an ontology. The relationships between ontology and sources are commonly defined with declarative mappings, which used systems perform SPARQL-to-SQL translation or generate RDF dumps from databases. Besides potential homogenization of because using ontology, some additional advantages this paradigm that it may allow applying reasoning thanks as well querying for meta knowledge, describes statements information such provenance certainty. In paper, (i) we adapt a widely graph store benchmark, namely LUBM, ontology-based access, (ii) extend benchmark queries exploit (iii) apply performance state-of-the-art mapping systems. Our proposal, LUBM4OBDA Benchmark, considers inference capabilities not covered previous benchmarks, is first one knowledge RDF-star model. experimental shows current virtualization cannot handle advanced tasks, optimizations needed scale materialization.

The RML mapping language declares schema transformations to map heterogeneous data into knowledge graphs. Although the provided by are sufficient for simple use cases, large real-world ones typically involve diverse and require complex computations. User-defined functions provide flexibility enable creation application of graphs these cases also allow reusing existing software packages processing in multiple domains. In this work, we present an implementation Morph-KGC. This has following benefits: (i) it conforms RML-FNML, standard module RML, (ii) can handle user-defined written Python, a widely used programming processing, (iii) includes support YARRRML, user-friendly syntax maximize usability. is currently being BASF, multinational chemical company, semantically integrate its industrial maintainable reproducible manner.

Reification in knowledge graphs has been present since the inception of RDF to allow capturing additional information triples, usually metadata. The need adopting or changing a metadata representation pre-existing graph enhance capture and access can lead inducing complex structural changes graph, according target representation's schema. In these situations, it is necessary decide whether construct again from its original sources, re-construct using current version graph. this paper we conduct an empirical study analyze which re-construction approach more suitable for switching created ensuring that represented preserved.
