Objective: Evaluate the wells of fractured Serra Geral aquifer in Taquaruçu do Sul - RS, determining their current status and potential for sustainable exploitation. Theoretical Framework: This study is based on theories hydrogeology, integrated water resources management, sustainability exploration aquifers. Method: The methodology encompassed identifying number wells, classifying them by usage, analyzing regional demand, evaluating hydrodynamic parameters. Data were obtained from Groundwater Information System (Geological Survey, Brazil). Results Discussion: results revealed 29 drilled: 22% are closed or stopped, 13% filled, 4% equipped, 48% not installed pumped, mainly used urban industrial supply. Research Implications: Critical role addressing future demands optimizing supply planning. Additionally, it highlights importance high-potential areas drilling new ensuring effective expansion infrastructure when needed. Originality/Value: Our expands knowledge about availability characteristics Sul, contributing to efficient management region's resources.
