Virtual reality exposure therapy (VRE) has been used in the treatment of combat-related PTSD since late 1990s and was recently adapted to treat due military sexual trauma (MST). With content specifically tailored MST-related contexts, we present case study a veteran who participated open clinical trial examining feasibility VRE (Loucks et al. 2019). We illustrate VRE's use activating memory facilitate therapeutic emotional processing across sessions overall symptom reduction. Unfortunately, in recent years, wars have forced many civilians to evacuate their homes and move safe zones.
