Paddy storage, a vital practice in agriculture, ensures the preservation of harvested rice grains by managing key factors such as humidity, temperature, and cleanliness. This study compared effects hermetic traditional storage methods on qualitative attributes Swarna, widely cultivated paddy variety. After harvest, samples were dried to moisture content 12.1% (w.b) stored IRRI super bags gunny under ambient conditions (30.5°C temperature 82% relative humidity). The quality was monitored over six-month period. results revealed that suffered from pest infestation, leading significant degradation quality. evident through low germination rate 68.2%, making unsuitable for seed production. In contrast, showed no signs insect infestation maintained stable level throughout Consequently, seeds significantly higher (91.7%), indicating superior findings suggest are more effective than methods, particularly maintaining levels, preventing damage, preserving viability (p<0.05). adoption green alternative storing paddy, could greatly benefit rural farmers minimizing post-harvest losses. can be achieved farmer training demonstrations, encouraging widespread use this improved technology.

Peanut production plays a crucial role in global food security, particularly developing countries, where it provides essential nutrition and income. This paper examines the optimization of peanut through genetic advancements, climate adaptation strategies, sustainable practices. The primary objective is to increase yields by addressing challenges related change, pests, resource constraints. Globally, hindered rising temperatures, irregular rainfall, declining soil quality, impacting both yield quality. Developing especially Africa Asia, face additional challenges, such as limited access advanced agricultural technologies, inadequate infrastructure, insufficient support for smallholder farmers. vital issues include vulnerabilities stress, inefficient water use. Recent research has provided insights into breeding more resilient, drought-resistant varieties, offering hope improving yields, despite environmental challenges. adoption precision farming, integrated pest management boosting productivity. These, along with optimized irrigation nutrient management, have significantly impacted resource-limited settings. Additionally, varieties proven crucial, enabling farmers resilience areas facing stress. In conclusion, optimizing requires continued investment Future efforts should focus on farming techniques long-term success.
