Magnesium alloys have similar mechanical properties with natural bone, and they degrade within a certain time span. Therefore, magnesium are suitable to be made as bone screws or plates. However, high susceptibility corrosion has limited their applications in the orthopedic field. They would possess great medical functions if degradation rates of could reduced. This paper describes approaches form calcium phosphate coating on alloy (AZ31) control rate. Samples AZ31 were placed supersaturated calcification solution prepared Ca (NO 3 ) xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2 , NaH PO xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4 NaHCO then, was formed. Dentin hypersensitivity is a common negative oral condition that can be treated with dentifrice containing hydroxyapatite (HA). The study evaluated the effect of nano-HA on plugging dentinal tubules for an anti-sensitivity reaction compared to common-sized particles. Also, adsorption capacity different particle sizes HA mixed in and which optimal size was considered.Fourty premolar dentine discs fourty molar were randomly divided into 4 groups: distilled water group, ordinary group 80, 300 nm group. Each dentin disc brushed twice daily at 7600 rpm under 100 g force 2 mins 7 consecutive days two parts, half detected by scanning electron microscope (SEM) energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), other observed SEM. One milliliter solution (80 dentifrice, dentifrice) added 50 ml potassium dichromate 1, 14, 28 d. residual Chromium (Cr6+) concentration supernatant measured diphenylcarbon phthalocyanine hydrazine method. elemental constitution precipitate EDS. Kruskal-Wallis test used analyze surface mineralization rates tubules. absorption dentifrices also test.The rate higher than 80 showed best result. atomic percentages Ca P highest. stable Cr6+, followed desorption phenomenon.The HA, especially exerts good tubule occlusion effect. This adsorbent Cr6+.

This study sought to prepare a new PVA/n-HA/PA66 composite investigate the repair of articular cartilage and subchondral defects in rabbit knee joints. A 5 × mm-sized defect was created patellofemoral joints 72 healthy adult New Zealand rabbits. The rabbits were then randomly divided into three groups (n = 24): PVA/n-HA+PA66 group, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) control (untreated) group. Cylindrical PVA/n-HA+PA66, mm, comprised an upper PVA layer lower n-HA+PA66 layer. Macroscopic histological evaluations performed at 4, 8, 12, 24 weeks, postoperatively. Type II collagen measured by immunohistochemical staining. implant/cartilage bone interfaces observed scanning electron microscopy. At weeks postoperatively, became surrounded cartilage, with no obvious degeneration. In enlarged space between implant host tissue that had undergone become calcified. positive type staining surrounding on surface. slightly increased but reduced throughout. Scanning microscopy showed close approximation composite. around material receded, filled tissue, while superior aspect disordered, fibrous tissue. diphase biological exhibits good histocompatibility offers satisfactory substitute for bone.
