Bacillus pumilus plays an essential role in agricultural applications as a beneficial microbe and for sustainable agriculture production. However, the underlying mechanisms of B. strains remain unclear to how they are plants stress tolerant growth promoters. was isolated from rhizosphere soil Artemisia vulgaris. NGS (next-generation sequencing) performed strain gain new insights into molecular plant-microbial interactions. revealed 3,910 genes, 3294 genes with protein-coding, 11 functional genomic regions related diverse agronomic traits including tolerance. We identified two possible phytohormone biosynthesis approaches metabolic regions1(terpense→diterpense→betacarotene→xanthoxin→ABA)2(terpense→diterpense→geranyl diphosphate →C20 →GA). Several gene clusters phytohormones, tolerance, diversification were predicted. The genome provides this bacterium tolerance its future applications. organization several hallmarks plant promotion pathogen suppression activities. Our results provide detailed information reveal potential mechanisms, laying foundation developing effective strategies against abiotic stress.
