Urbanization is one of the major drivers biotic homogenization (i.e., decrease in beta diversity) freshwater systems. However, only a few studies have simultaneously examined how urbanization affects multiple facets taxonomic, functional and phylogenetic) diversity its underlying ecological urban river macroinvertebrates. Here, we distinguished patterns mechanisms macroinvertebrate weighted by incidence abundance data subtropical system with distinct gradient. We also investigated total stem from replacement versus richness difference among sites. Our results showed that taxonomic phylogenetic diversities were primarily driven taxa, whereas contributed more to based on data. Furthermore, decreased for both incidence-weighted abundance-weighted data, but former substantial decreases. Both components roughly equally decline diversity. In contrast, losses mainly associated taxa. Variation partitioning revealed all measures governed local land-use variables, spatial variables relevant driving Overall, comparing different suggest may be sensitive portraying impacts This likely resulted fact shows importance rare taxa shaping induced urbanization.
