ABSTRACT Transformations in agricultural practices, particularly regarding chemical inputs such as pesticides, affect physical and characteristics biotic communities of streams. The structure of fish assemblages in lotic systems usually varies from headwaters to the mouth, related geomorphological and physicochemical changes.
