Abstract As of 2023, English was the official language in 67 countries and spoken by more than 1.5 billion people worldwide. Although it is not most widely used native tongue, has become a global lingua franca, particularly academic scientific contexts. This dominance, however, restricts access non-English speakers to educational professional opportunities perpetuates what may be termed “linguistic racism.” At same time, rapid rise large models (LLMs)—capable instantaneous translation text reformulation—risks amplifying hegemony English, potentially homogenizing communication overshadowing linguistic diversity. article examines how LLMs, often trained predominantly on English-language data, inadvertently marginalize minority languages cultures. these AI tools provide unprecedented convenience for cross-linguistic communication, they also pose ethical, social, epistemic challenges. It argued that governments international bodies, such as UNESCO, should develop regulations support pluralism protect cultures digital sphere. One possible approach involves fostering creation deployment small specifically adapted local Unlike larger, English-centric models, can preserve nuance reduce reliance single standard. Concrete strategies mitigate cultural homogenization include community-driven data curation, impact assessments deployment, policies promote open-access partnerships sovereignty. Ensuring reflect input speakers, anthropologists, sociolinguists transform LLMs into instruments preserving—and even revitalizing—endangered languages. Ultimately, balanced governance, combining technical innovation with sensitivity, essential. Such an ensure emerging technologies enhance rather erode diversity, enriching diluting broader landscape.

We review and critically assess several issues arising from the potential -large-scale- implementation or deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs) in society. These include security, political, economic, cultural, educational as well concerning social biases, creativity, copyright, freedom speech. argue, without a preconceived pessimism toward these tools, that they may bring about many benefits. However, we also call for balance assessment their downsides. While our work is only preliminary certainly partial it nevertheless holds some value one first exploratory attempts literature.

Abstract Social media have undoubtedly changed our ways of living. Their presence concerns an increasing number users (over 4,74 billion) and pervasively expands in the most diverse areas human life. Marketing, education, news, data, sociality are just a few many which social play now central role. Recently, some attention toward link between political participation has emerged. Works field artificial intelligence already pointed out that there is close use machine learning algorithms possible epistemic isolation, could lead to radicalization. The idea supporting this paper for can actively put users’ deliberative capacity at risk foster extremism. To prove these claims, I proceed along two lines inquiry. First, focus on filter bubbles, namely result selections made by recommend contents meet expectations opinions. analyze phenomenon, refer Deweyan model experience. Second, connect bubbles problem participatory democracy Nussbaum’s concept compassion. purpose provide philosophical foundation both (1) effectively serve as method analyzing their potential problems relation extremism, (2) be adopted standard counter danger extremism associated with

Abstract This review provides a comprehensive analysis of the intersection between digital sustainability (DS) and eco‐environmental (EES), focusing on opportunities challenges presented by emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, electric vehicles (EVs), cryptocurrencies. The study critically examines concerns arising from increasing demand for infrastructure depletion essential natural resources, including tantalum, indium, cobalt, lithium. Through an interdisciplinary approach, evaluates ethical, technological, policy implications integrating DS within EES framework. It emphasizes significance innovative governance cross‐sector collaboration to address environmental trade‐offs rebound effects linked with these technologies. Additionally, proposes strategies mitigating ecological impacts transformation identifies crucial research gaps, particularly in resource management long‐term sustainability. findings aim guide alignment EES, fostering more balanced resilient path towards sustainable development. offers actionable insights recommendations industry practitioners, policymakers, researchers committed advancing transformation.

Purpose: This study provides a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of advancements in Artificial Intelligence Healthcare and Psychology (AIHCP), focusing on emerging trends their implications for future research practice. Given the rapid developments AI technologies applications these fields, detailed examination patterns thematic areas is critical. Design/Methodology/Approach: Using two-stage filtering process, we analyzed 1,499 documents from 1960 to 2023, narrowing down 1,362 published between 2013 further 11 publications 2018–2023. Data were retrieved Scopus database, analyses included frequency distribution by journals, authors, countries, organizations, as well network visualization co-occurring keywords. Thematic clusters identified using VOSviewer software, text mining/mapping abstracts was conducted deeper insights. Findings: We seven clusters, including technological capabilities, healthcare security, psychological interventions, role chatbots machine learning. Key findings reveal evolving focus research, highlighting opportunities innovation addressing existing challenges. These provide global overview underline potential transforming psychology. Originality/Value: offers unique perspective combining with mining explore AIHCP comprehensively. The serve foundation emphasizing integration into psychology practices while critical gaps opportunities.
