Coregulation of microRNAs (miRNAs) and cancer stem cells (CSCs) is very important in carcinogenesis. miR-127-5p known to be downregulated breast cancer. In this study, we aimed investigate how boric acid (BA), for its previously unstudied anti-cancer properties, would affect the expression miR127-5p genes responsible (BC-SCs) metastasis. BC-SCs were isolated from human (MCF-7) by immunomagnetic cell separation characterized with flow cytometry sphere formation. The viability determination IC50 value response (BA) assessed via MTT assay. Boric exhibited dose- time-dependent inhibition cells. doses MCF-7 45.69 mM 41.27 mM, respectively. impact BA on metastatic was elucidated through RT-qPCR analysis. While COL1A1 (p < 0.05) VIM 0.01) downregulated, miR-127-5p, ZEB1 0.01), CDH1 0.05), ITGB1 ITGA5 LAMA5 SNAIL up-regulated dose-treated 0.001) results. Our findings suggest that could induce expression. However, it cannot said improves metastasis properties
