Four new sesquiterpene coumarin ethers (1–4) and a phenylpropanoid compound (5) were isolated from hexane extract of the roots Ferula drudeana, putative Anatolian ecotype silphion plant, in addition to nineteen previously described coumarins (6–24) four known derivatives (25–28). The structures these compounds elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analysis computational studies. cytotoxic activities all evaluated on renal, malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) colon cancer cell lines. While 11 showed strong-to-moderate activity against UO31 renal line, 13 strong MPM displayed moderate line.
