The main therapeutic options for colorectal cancer are surgical resection and adjuvant chemotherapy in non-metastatic disease. We investigated the feasibility of preoperative 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography (PET)/computed (CT) radiomics with machine learning to predict microsatellite instability (MSI) status in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients.Altogether, 233 patients CRC who underwent FDG PET/CT were enrolled and divided into training (n=139) test (n=94) sets. A PET-based signature (rad_score) was established MSI CRC.
