Abstract Objective In this study, the safety and efficacy of scalp repair serum microneedles combined with oral drug administration topical medication were investigated for treatment moderate to severe androgenetic alopecia. Methods Twenty patients, consisting 4 males 16 females, who sought alopecia at our hair medicine research center specialty clinic between August December 2022 randomly selected study. Male patients underwent finasteride application 5% minoxidil, biweekly microneedle therapy. Female administered spironolactone or Diane‐35 orally applied 2% minoxidil topically, paired therapy sessions. After seven treatments, was discontinued, but applications continued, followed by a 1‐month follow‐up. Using dermoscopy, follicles in fixed region on top head manually counted per unit area evaluate restoration status quantitatively. Results All 20 completed 3 months On average, experienced an increase 42.6 hairs, efficiency rate 100%. Significant differences observed count any two first treatments ( p < 0.001). A significant negative correlation discovered initial pre‐treatment total improvement 0.001), indicating that greater degree loss before treatment, more pronounced improvement. Conclusion Scalp significantly reduces number required, enhances efficacy, improves therapeutic outcomes.

Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is a common clinical condition, affecting over 200 million people globally each year. For decades, Minoxidil (Mi) tincture has been the primary treatment for this disease, but its low utilization rate and significant side effects necessitate new therapeutic strategies. Nitric oxide (NO) signaling molecule in various physiological processes, including vasodilation, immune responses, cell proliferation. Herein, we constructed hyaluronic acid liposome (HL) complex as novel transdermal delivery system (HL@Mi/NONOate) NO Mi, which displayed promising hair-regrowth effects. In-depth mechanistic studies revealed three potential pathways of synergistic AGA therapy. First, promoted capillary dilation accelerated blood flow, thus achieving efficient penetration Mi. Due to structural advantage liposomes, residence time Mi skin was prolonged. Moreover, HL@Mi/NONOate proliferation angiogenesis, upregulated expression regulatory factors involved follicle stem differentiation. In model, down-regulated inflammatory factors, inhibiting inflammation improving microenvironment hair regrowth. Concurrently, Ki67 PCNA proteins tissues, inducing regeneration development, ultimately multimodal

Abstract Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is the most common cause of in males and females. Minoxidil finasteride are only FDA-approved treatments for AGA. New including Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) microneedling have shown promising results. The purpose this literature review was to highlight recent studies examining effects topical minoxidil combined with PRP or monotherapy. method used paper includes a systematic from 2010 2022 using PubMed, EMBASE, MEDLINE databases evaluating combination therapies Three randomized control trials compared + 5% either no treatment, minoxidil, only. Two found increased hair growth at five months six following therapy. Another study an increase density improved patient satisfaction therapy A prospective revealed that patients treated PRP, reported highest physician An observational diameter after one year treatment retrospective as well In conclusion, variety demonstrated superior response Limitations include different preparation protocols, few studies, small sample sizes.
