The domestication process of agaves has allowed this plant to adapt different environmental conditions, which led the emergence subspecies same species with altered morphological characteristics. This may lead differences in their nutritional properties. For reason, aim study was determine physiochemical properties two Agave salmiana (crassispina and salmiana) grown regions Although both have clay soils, some cation exchange capacity (CEC) nutrient concentration were found, induced changes leaf size during adaptation process. Papaya (Carica papaya L.) is a highly nutritious fruit crop cultivated commercially in the tropical and subtropical regions of world. Being shallow rooted crop, it requires frequent application nutrients. remunerative due to its high productivity responds positively nutrient application. Ring Spot Virus (PRSV) major threat production, which causes severe yield loss reduces quality. To combat PRSV enhance productivity, formulation was developed by combining organic, inorganic sources with biocontrol agents improve health vigor plants. Experiments were conducted standardize time evaluate efficacy enhancing yield, ring spot virus incidence from January 2021 December 2023 at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, Nadu, India. The results revealed that foliar monthly intervals 3rd 7th month after planting (MAP) along regular recommended dose fertilizers (RDF) bimonthly MAP significantly increased (37.79% 30.57% TNAU CO 8 Red Lady, respectively) reduced disease (22.49% 16.53% Lady). Metabolomics study indicates spray enhanced activators precursors defense enzymes, viz., peroxidase (PO), polyphenol oxidase (PPO), phenyl ammonia lyase (PAL), catalase (CAT) nitrate reductase (NRase) sprayed plants over unsprayed control. Therefore, exhibited tolerance maintaining induced systemic resistance enzymes.

Foliar fertilization, an effective strategy for enhancing crop yields, is relatively uncommon in bamboo cultivation. To investigate the impact of potassium fertilizer applied directly to leaves, we K2CO3 on fresh leaves 1-year-old Neosinocalamus affinis culms. The results indicated that fertilization significantly promoted leaf growth and development, evidenced by thicker epidermal mesophyll cells increased areas bulliform fusoid cells. Additionally, chlorophyll content rose, while moisture levels declined. Notably, soluble sugar, starch, non-structural carbohydrate (NSC) contents also increased. Further analysis sugar metabolism revealed exogenous application boosted activities key enzymes involved sucrose metabolism, including acid convertase (SAI), cell wall invertase (CWI), synthase (SuSy), phosphate synthetase (SPS). foliar starch synthesis elevating ADPG pyrophosphorylase (AGPase), (SSS), granular-bound (GBSS), simultaneously diminishing phosphorylase (STP), α-amylase, β-amylase. Moreover, targeted reduced malondialdehyde (MDA) hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) enhanced superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), peroxidase (POD), thereby improving stress resistance leaves.
