ABSTRACT Drought stress severely impacts wheat growth, development and yield, significantly challenging global food security. Wheat is a staple crop worldwide, increasing its drought resilience crucial. Trehalose, stress‐protective disaccharide, crucial for enhancing tolerance. This review examines strategies strengthening wheat's through trehalose, including genetic modifications to enhance trehalose synthesis external applications. Abstract The population resulting from mutations in the M3 generation generally has a diversity that can be selected to obtain mutants with desired character. This study aimed observe agronomic performances of sorghum and estimate its genetic parameters as information for selection. materials used this research were 242 mutant lines generation, six comparison genotypes, namely Numbu, Samurai-1, Kawali, Pahat, B-35, Watar Hammu Putih (parent). experiment an augmented design. result analysis revealed genotype treatments affected differences performance panicle length, stem diameter, chlorophyll content characters. Significant also seen between control genotypes on all observed appearance showed substantial weight, biomass leaf content, seed yield wide high heritability values indicated by plant height, Using weight selection character populations increased differential biomass,
