In this paper, the free vibration of functionally graded porous (FGP) non-uniform annular-nanoplates lying on Winkler foundation (WF) is studied by using smoothed finite element method based first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT). The combination mixed interpolation tensorial components for three-node triangular (MITC3 element) and edge-based (ES-FEM) creates ES-MITC3 element. This employed to avoid locking problem as well improve accuracy original MITC3 small-scale effect considered nonlocal theory. Applying Hamilton's principle, governing equation FGP thickness annular-nanoplate derived. Material properties nanoplate are characterized two parameters: power-law index (k) maximum porosity distributions (Ω) in forms cosine functions. results present work compared with other published verify reliability. Moreover, effects geometry parameters material comprehensively investigated.

Geometrically non-linear thermally induced vibrations of functionally graded material (FGM) joined spherical-conical shells are analyzed in the current research. Thermo-mechanical properties assumed to be temperature and position dependent. The system is subjected thermal shock on ceramic-rich surface, whereas metal-rich one kept at reference temperature. one-dimensional transient heat conduction equation established solved via generalized differential quadrature (GDQ) Crank-Nicolson methods. This since thermo-mechanical total functional obtained under assumptions uncoupled thermoelasticity laws, first order shear deformation shell theory, von Kármán type geometrical non-linearity. Non-linear coupled equations motion iterative Picard method accompanied with β-Newmark time approximation technique. Numerical results well-validated available data for case single FGM spherical shell. Parametric studies conducted examine influences conical geometries, composition, dependence, in-plane out-of-plane mechanical boundary conditions, various configuration conical/spherical system, conditions. It highlighted that indeed exists.

This study focuses on the microarchitecture-dependent nonlinear bending behavior of cellular plates with equitriangularly prismatic microarchitectures by adopting a dimensionally and constitutively reduced strain gradient plate model. The energy formulation is based dimension reduction first-order shear deformation theory along von Kármán's relations anisotropic theory. classical higher-order constitutive parameters are obtained according to recently published homogenization results for corresponding linear finite element simulations, numerically solving problems, rely nonstandard, higher-order, six-node triangular showing good convergence properties. Comparisons between proposed (2D) model (3D) detailed full-field reference models demonstrate variety structures that accuracy approach at very level relatively low computational costs. A diverse set numerical examples provided in order investigate size-dependent structural response having different numbers microarchitectural layers, midsurface shapes boundary conditions.
