The coastline of Pakistan spans over 1046 km and presents a promising opportunity for domestic production oil palm, thus reducing the reliance on imported edible oils. However, palm requires significant amount nutrients during its 3 to 4 years maturation period. To address this, study was conducted in which synthetic fertilizers (NPK) farmyard manure were strategically integrated applied post-nursery stage based FGVR principles (Felda Global Venture, Malaysia recommendation).Treatments included T1 (Control), T2= (143 g plant -1 NPK i.e. 10g [1 st month], 14g [2 nd 21g [3 rd , th 5 months = 63g]; 28g [6 7 58g]); T3=NPK 75%FGVR, T6=NPK 50%>FGVR, T7=FYM 2 kg + 25%

Bacteria that promote plant growth, such as diazotrophs, are valuable tools for achieving a more sustainable production of important non-legume crops like rice. Different strategies have been used to discover new bacteria capable promoting growth. This work evaluated the contribution soil diazotrophs endophytic communities established in roots rice seedlings cultivated on seven representative soils from Uruguay.

Abstract Plant-beneficial microbes have great potential to improve sustainability in agriculture. Still, managing beneficial is challenging because the impact of microbial dormancy on community assembly across soil, rhizosphere, and endosphere poorly understood. We address this gap with first documented use Biorthogonal Non-Canonical Amino Acid Tagging (BONCAT) probe active soil-to-root gradient. Using nodule-forming legume Trifolium incarnatum, we confirmed that BONCAT suitable for labeling endospheric microscopy. Next, coupled Flow Cytometer Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing patterns activity structure root, nodule a native soil community. As expected, found x10 higher than rhizosphere or bulk likely due increased plant resources. Finally, revealed was significantly associated successful colonization, more so abundance alone. This last finding has implications development inoculants, suggesting colonizing roots linked microbe’s ability overcome once deployed soil.

Research into understanding the structure, composition and vertical transmission of crop seed microbiomes has intensified, although there is much less research wild relatives. Our previous study showed that standard storage procedures (e.g., drying temperature) can influence microbiome domesticated Glycine max. In this study, we characterized microbiota clandestina, a perennial relative soybean (G. max (L.) Merr.) to expand our about effect other such as periodic regeneration stocks bulk up numbers secure viability on said seed. The G. clandestina was analysed from Generation 1 (G1) 2 (G2) mature plant organs grown in two different soil treatments T (treatment [native + potting mix]) C (control [potting mix only]). dataset had strong next generation microbiota, with an increased contribution root by 90% transmissibility 36.3% G2 (T) Interestingly, primarily consisted initially low abundance taxa present G1 Overall, results indicate affect using native location source enhance conservation microbiota.

The migration of antibiotics and bacterial communities between sediments pore water occurring in the lake, which is affected by aquatic vegetation. However, differences community structure biodiversity with plants lakes under antibiotic stress are still poorly understood. We collected both wild cultivated Phragmites australis regions Zaozhadian (ZZD) Lake to explore characteristics community. Our results showed that diversity sediment samples were significantly higher than those P. regions. Due levels from region, composition a difference, reduced relative abundance dominant phyla increased sediments. variations could be explained region therefore plant cultivation might change source-sink pattern water. factors shaping or NH4-N, NO3-N, particle size, while oxytetracycline, tetracycline, etc. findings this work indicates pollution caused planting activities has greater impact on community, will provide reference for use management lake ecosystems.

Sake, which is produced mainly from japonica rice (Oryza sativa subsp. japonica), one of the most important alcohol products in Japan. In this study, we aimed to investigate a hypothesis that early root endophytic bacterial communities Japanese sake cultivars would be distinct those table cultivars, comparing four and two cultivars. Rice roots vegetative stage were collected 0, 3, 6 weeks after transplanting, 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing revealed significant differences community composition diversity between The at transplanting differed significantly indicating each seed-derived community. After an overall dominance Pantoea Methylobacterium-Methylorubrum was gradually replaced by soil-derived bacteria varied Notably, PERMANOVA results showed (p < 0.001). These highlight compared supporting our hypothesis.
