Boron (B) is critical for plant growth, yet its movement in soil often hindered by leaching and adsorption, leading to deficiencies. Tackling these issues essential boosting agricultural productivity, especially plants like Eucalyptus with high B needs. This paper aims address challenges evaluating B-doped biochar composites (biochar-B) that enhance distribution stability the soil, focusing on grandis cultivation two distinct oxisol types. Biochar-B were created using shrimp carcass (FSC), chicken manure (FCM) sewage sludge (FSS), combined boric acid (BA) borax (BX), pyrolyzed at 300 °C 550 °C. The experimental design was a completely randomized (CRD) three replicates. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis confirmed successful integration interaction organic matrices, highlighting functional groups responsible composite properties. facilitated development of highly predictive partial least squares (PLS) regression models (R2pred ~ 0.8). FSC-BA showed notable thermal stability, retention availability, enhancing release kinetics. These findings emphasize importance considering soluble rate applications cultivation. use provides sustainable method gradual release, potentially outperforming conventional fertilization techniques. approach may lead improved growth productivity. Further field investigations are recommended order validate refine strategies; thus, benefiting range crops.

In agricultural production, it is crucial to increase the availability of phosphorus (P) in cultivated soil solve P limitation. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have been proven promote crop nutrient absorption effectively, while biochar can lead improvements properties. However, possible synergistic effect AMF and on uptake by crops as well its underlying mechanisms are unclear. this study, we conducted a pot experiment explore effects (Glomus etunicatum) community rhizospheric phosphate-solubilizing microorganisms (PSMs) maize (Zea mays L. Xianyu-335) using metagenomic methods. The used 0 mg P2O5 g·kg−1 (P0) 30 (P30) application rates. Each rate included (NC), 20 (BC) addition, inoculation AMF, without treatments (NM) for total eight treatments. During experiment, both biomass were measured. study found that combination significantly increased colonization roots, regardless level. It was observed when exposed biochar. P0 67% higher than sum alone. only 35% P30 treatments, demonstrating substantially interactive under conditions. AM-BC abundance Streptomyces, Bacillus, Pseudomonas, genera known contain PSMs. genes related P-cycling (gcd, phoD, ugpQ) PSMs 1.5–1.8 times compared with NM-BC AM-NC This positively correlated uptake. Overall, results suggest help colonize increasing functional roles rhizosphere, which turn promotes maize. provides new way improve P-use efficiency reduce need P-fertilizer production.
