Objective: This study explored the perceptions, psychological changes and needs for home self-management in people with hard-to-heal wounds. Method: Participants were recruited from a wound care outpatient clinic of The First Affiliated Hospital Soochow University, China, qualitative, semi-structured interviews conducted. A phenomenological approach qualitative research was used, data collected analysed using Colaizzi's method. Results: cohort comprised 15 patients three themes extracted: (1) symptom management burden (symptom distress lack knowledge about care); (2) inadequate resources related to (insufficient medical primary hospitals, tortuosity treatment-seeking process, expectation access expertise); (3) self-managing pressures coexisting motivation (high expectations low level attention healing, varied treatment adherence, financial burden, negative emotions, contradiction between work rest, social communication impact). Conclusion: There variation perception among wounds, only some knowing how perform at home. Overall, wounds had poor perceptions self-management. Healthcare workers should encourage guide self-manage, which will help increase patient's reduce management. Professional staff community secondary hospitals be trained improve their guidance skills

Abstract Multiple myeloma (MM) is a hematological malignancy defined by the abnormal proliferation and accumulation of plasma cells (PC) within bone marrow (BM). While multiple impacts bone, it not classified as primary cancer. The microenvironment significantly influences progression its treatment response. Mesenchymal stromal (MSCs) in this environment engage with other components via direct contact secretion soluble factors. This review examines established roles MSCs facets MM pathology, encompassing their pro-inflammatory functions, contributions to tumor epigenetics, effects on immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), influence reprogramming, chemotherapy resistance, senescence. investigates role development MM.
