The aim of this paper gather evidence present summary results studies concerning women their neonates. Methods. Articles from prestigious journals covering period 2020 February 2023, relevant review papers, original research articles PubMed were analysed. In order analyse available literature, Web Science, Scopus, databases used, search conducted using terms (“pregnancy,” “coronavirus,” “SARS-CoV-2,” “newborn”) PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items Systemic Reviews Meta-Analysis) guidelines clinical trials. Meta-analyses systematic reviews (2022–2023) on symptoms, neonatal course, risk infection been summarized. Summary meta-analyses effect adverse reaction vaccination presented. Results. As result conducted, confirmed that most no serious signs observed, although isolated cases death related reported. Several authors called attention more severe course with obesity. It seemed vertical transmission mother child occurring. Nevertheless, information not clinching. condition mothers described normal; however, some papers reported deaths Conclusions. Due insufficient data, further necessary. Further follow-up are recommended, would make possible an assessment remote effects pregnancy vital parameters newborn.

Abstract Pregnant women represent a high‐risk population for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus‐2 (SARS‐CoV‐2) infection. The presence of SARS‐CoV‐2 has been reported in placenta from infected pregnant women, but whether the virus influences immune response remains unclear. We investigated properties maternal–fetal interface macrophages (MFMs) cohort unvaccinated who contracted coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) during their pregnancy. an infiltration CD163 + COVID‐19 19 whereas lymphoid compartment was not affected. Isolated MFMs exhibited nonpolarized activated signature ( NOS 2, IDO1 , IFNG TNF TGFB ) mainly second trimester pregnancy primed MFM to produce type I and III interferon (Wuhan δ strains), that were unable elicit this healthy women. also internalization by angiotensin‐converting enzyme 2‐dependent manner. Activation recall responses influenced fetal sex. Collectively, these findings support role local infection, provide basis protective placental immunity COVID‐19, highlight interest vaccination

Evidence indicates that SARS-CoV-2 infection increases the likelihood of adverse pregnancy outcomes. Modifications in circulatory, pulmonary, hormonal, and immunological pathways induced by render pregnant women as a high-risk group. A growing body research shows during is connected to number maternal complications, including pneumonia intensive care unit (ICU) hospitalization. Miscarriages, stillbirth, preterm labor, well pre-eclampsia intrauterine growth restriction are also among most often documented fetal implications, particularly expecting who have significant COVID-19 symptoms, affecting timing route delivery. Thus, prevention pharmacological treatment options should aim minimize aforementioned risks ameliorate maternal, obstetric fetal/neonatal
