Rehabilitation via virtual reality (VR) training tools allows repetitive, intensive, and task-specific practice in a controlled safe environment. Our goal was to develop validate novel immersive VR system based on the of real-life activities kitchen environment people with multiple sclerosis (pwMS) upper-limb dysfunction. The application includes several tasks, i.e., tidying up kitchen, preparing hamburger soup meal, dish washing. Following development phase, tested for an 8-week intervention period small sample pwMS suffering from Suitability Evaluation Questionnaire systems served as primary outcome. scores enjoyment, sense comfort system, feelings success control, realism, easy-to-understand instructions, assists rehabilitation therapy, were between 4.0 4.6, indicating high satisfaction. eye discomfort, dizziness, nausea, disorientation during 2.8 1.3, low-to-moderate interference system. is feasible paves way future RCTs examine benefits compared standard care, thus improving functionality upper limbs pwMS.

In multiple sclerosis, only immunomodulatory and immunosuppressive drugs are recognized as disease-modifying therapies. However, in recent years, several data from pre-clinical clinical studies suggested a possible role of physical exercise therapy sclerosis.
