Oral symptoms in MS patients may arise both as direct consequences and side effects pharmacological treatments. These such xerostomia, periodontal disease, dental sensitivity, can significantly affect quality life be underrecognized practice. Aim: To systematically assess presence relevance manifestations with MS, to identify correlations between these parameters phenotype, duration, disability level. Materials Methods: A systematic review was performed following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. database search conducted PubMed Scopus on 17 March 2025, using terms related “multiple sclerosis” “oral manifestations”. Inclusion criteria were limited observational studies published last ten years, focusing patients. Furthermore, assessed Newcastle–Ottawa Scale (NOS) cohort case–control studies, JBI Critical Appraisal checklist analytical cross-sectional studies. Results: Ten met inclusion criteria. The most frequently reported hyposalivation, gingival inflammation, increased DMFT plaque indices, pain. Several found statistically significant associations dryness phenotype (p < 0.05), health degree 0.05). However, heterogeneity methodology lack longitudinal noted limitations. Conclusions: This highlights clear relationship several disturbances, particularly xerostomia disease. findings underscore need multidisciplinary care approaches further standardized protocols better understand oral-systemic interactions MS.
