The methylation- demethylation dynamics of RNA plays major roles in different biological functions, including stress responses, plants. m6A methylation is orchestrated by a coordinated function methyl transferases (writers) and demethylases (Erasers). The increased frequency of extreme weather events related to climate change, including the occurrence temperatures, severely affects crop yields, impairing global food security.
