Abstract Xanthan gum is a microbial polysaccharide produced by Xanthomonas and widely used in various industries. To produce xanthan gum, the native citri-386 was cheese-whey-based culture medium. The conditions were investigated batch experiments based on response surface methodology to increase production viscosity. Three independent variables this study included feeding times of acetate, pyruvate, citrate. maximum viscosity within 120 h X. using Box–Behnken design 25.7 g/l 65 500 cP, respectively, with 151% 394% as compared control sample. Overall, findings recommend use medium an economical optimal amounts citrate for commercial industrial scale. adjustment pyruvate acetate concentrations optimized environment.

Port State Control (PSC) is a critical inspection mechanism used to regulate and remove substandard foreign ships in national ports, with the aim of ensuring compliance safety pollution regulations prevent threats environment. Abstract Utilizing xanthan gum, a biodegradable polymer, in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) is imperative wherever there need for innovation production that both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. Xanthan, chosen its natural sourcing, availability, controllability, eco-friendliness, biodegradability, proves resilient against harsh reservoir conditions owing to rigid structure elongated polysaccharide chains. This study investigates two modified gum composites, achieved by grafting with synthetic vinyl monomers through emulsified polymerization. Spectroscopic characterization using FTIR 1 H-NMR, along surface morphology analysis via atomic force microscopy (AFM) thermal behavior screening TGA analysis, elucidates the properties of these composites. Rheological under conditions, including stress scanning viscosity/shear rate dependency, was evaluated. Material modeling Materials Studio program simulated equilibrium adsorption biopolymer chains on SiO 2 -quartz crystal assess wettability alteration. Simulation results indicate XG-g-AM, MMA&TEVS exhibit greater stability coverage more negative electrostatic energies compared XG XG-g-AM&MMA. The laboratory runs sandstone-packed model identify disclosed XG-g-AM&MMA biopolymers as promising EOR candidates modifiers challenging sandstone reservoirs, per experimental outcomes.

In this study, the focus was to produce xanthan gum from pineapple waste using Xanthomonas campestris. Six machine learning models were employed optimize fermentation time and key metabolic stimulants (KH2PO4 NH4NO3). The production of optimized two evolutionary optimization algorithms, particle swarm optimization, genetic algorithm while importance input features ranked global sensitivity analysis. KH2PO4 most important found be beneficial for production, a limited amount nitrogen needed. extreme model adequate modeling predicting maximum yield 10.34 g/l (an 11.9 % increase over control) at 3 days, 15 g/l, NH4NO3 2 g/l.
