Pesticide use in crops is a severe problem some countries. Each country has its legislation for use, but they differ the degree of tolerance these broadly toxic products. Several synthetic pesticides can cause air, soil, and water pollution, contaminating human food chain other living beings. In addition, them accumulate environment an indeterminate amount time. The agriculture sector must guarantee healthy with sustainable production using environmentally friendly methods. this context, biological biopesticides from microbes plants are growing green solution segment. pests attack worldwide, including weeds, insects, nematodes, microorganisms such as fungi, bacteria, viruses, causing diseases economic losses. bioproducts microorganisms, microbial (MBPs) or alone, practice due to intense research world. Mainly, baculoviruses have been used sources biomolecules secondary metabolites biopesticide use. Different methods, direct soil application, spraying techniques endotherapy, seed treatment, used. Adjuvants like surfactants, protective agents, carriers improve system different formulations. tool bioremediation environment. This review summarizes topics, focusing on origin.

Abstract Leguminous and oil contaminated soils are considered an important rich reservoir for industrial environmentally bacteria. However, how indigenous bacteria from these different in terms of multiple enzymatic potential comparison bacterial isolates unplanted soil is needed to bio-prospect it. Here, a comparative study was conducted measure simultaneous (amylase, lipase, protease) three Bacillus spp (Bacillus sp.1, sp.2, sp.3) isolated contaminated, leguminous soils. A significant (P < 0.05) differences enzyme production among species collected types (oil leguminous, unplanted) revealed by utilizing variety substrates (starch, soybean), (olive oil, sunflower oil) (casein, soybean) respectively. Maximum amylase (21.554 ± 1.120 mm) on starch protease (14.350 1.100mm) casein observed sp.2 (leguminous soil), while lipase (20.241 1.990mm) high sp.1 soil) olive oil. sp.3 (unplanted exhibited least enzymes capabilities (3.458 O.135mm), (2.208 0.215) (4.516 0.225mm), at 37°C temperature, pH 7 after 48 hour Furthermore, significantly decreased with the increase temperature 47°C, 57°C. Results showed positive relationship between (oil-contaminated, as compare soil. These findings demonstrated that above types, have enzymes, further indicating, highly demanding habitats investigation diversity potential.

In view of a constant growth in the human population on Earth, provision necessary amount high-quality food looks challenging. As over 10% crop yields are annually lost due to presence phytopathogens, development novel, eco-friendly methods pest eradication might contribute avoiding nutritional shortages. Here, we propose controlled application cold atmospheric pressure plasma (CAPP) generated form an jet (APPJ), for which conducted multivariate optimization working parameters with use design experiments (DoE) addition response surface methodology (RSM). After estimating optimal operating conditions APPJ, determined inactivation rates caused by 2 min CAPP exposure towards bacterial phytopathogens from three species Dickeya solani, Pectobacterium atrosepticum and carotovorum artificially inoculated plant seeds four species. Logarithmic reductions, as key result this work, were enclosed range 1.61–4.95 case Cucumis sativus, Pisum sativum, Vigna radiata, while bacteria-inoculated Zea mays seeds, lower antibacterial properties APPJ equaling 0.86–1.12 logs noted. The herein applied did not reveal any statistically significant detrimental effects germination seed coat integrity, or early growth. Even promotion 20.96% was observed APPJ-exposed seeds. By applying colorimetric assays optical emission spectrometry (OES), oxidative potential identifying reactive oxygen (ROS) •OH, •HO2, •O2−, O3, 1O2 nitrogen (RNS) N, NO2, NO3 responsible APPJ. summary, universal antiphytopathogenic treatment reached proper revealed against strains family Pectobacteriaceae diverse data presented may future agriculture field provide alternatives pesticides prevention-based control pathogenic bacteria.

The increased consumption of fruit and vegetables is essential for moving towards a healthier more sustainable diet. Vegetarian diets are gaining in popularity due to their environmental health implications; however, there need additional research investigating pesticide residues these foods. It increasingly recognized that the global food system must prioritize nutritional quality, health, impact over quantity. Food contaminants, including pesticides, mycotoxins, heavy metals, pose substantial threat safety persistent nature harmful effects. We conducted literature search utilizing four distinct databases (PubMed, Google Scholar, NIH, ScienceDirect) several combinations keywords (pesticides, food, vegetarian diet, toxicity, sustainable, removal). Consequently, we selected recent relevant studies proposed topic. have incorporated articles discuss items, particularly plant-based products. This study rigorously analyzes impacts pesticides ultimately provides solutions elimination or reduction, along with environmentally sound alternatives use. concludes transition agriculture production reducing thereby protecting human wildlife populations, environment. paper argues urgent transform systems sustainability.
