Climate

challenges
that
require
an
urgent
change
from
current
agricultural
practices
to
sustainable
agriculture.
Biostimulants
natural
solutions
adhere
the
principles
of
organic
farming
believed
have
low
impacts
on
environment

health.
Further,
they
may
contribute
reducing
use
chemical
inputs
while
maintaining
productivity
in
adverse
environments.

Dragon

wide
variety

species

rich
in
nutritional
value

have
great
economic
potential;

numerous
studies
focused
on
their
commercial
quality.

contrast,
few
addressed
flavor
quality,
particularly
with
respect
to
the
regulatory
networks
responsible
for
flavor-related
substance
contents.
To
this
end,
we
sequenced
transcriptomes
metabolomes
red-skin/white-fleshed
red-skin/red-fleshed
dragon
at
different
timepoints
during
development.
RNA-seq
metabolome
data
were
used
divide
seven
developmental
stages
into
four
categories
(young
fruit,
expansion,
maturity,
senescence).
