Abstract Different causes have been reported for secondary lymphedema as in this article. A 75-year-old man was diagnosed with about one decade after saphenous harvesting coronary artery bypass surgery. It took two years him to find out his diagnosis and receive the proper treatment. After standard complete decongestive therapy, volume pain decreased quality of life improved, especially its physical aspect. is important recognize possibility development among patients undergoing surgery prevent significant disturbance timely management.

Lymphedema, a chronic incurable condition characterized by edema, inflammation, reactive fibrosis, adipose proliferation, and compromised immune function, affects over 250 million people worldwide [1]. Further, comorbidity of obesity increases the risk developing lymphedema can result in irreversible damage to lymphatic function. Access appropriate timely treatment, performance proper self-management strategies, implementation healthy lifestyle practices are critical for optimal outcomes those affected.
