Recent advances in virtual reality (VR) technology have made it possible to use VR healthcare settings improve patient care and rehabilitation, with promising results various clinical applications. This study aims review the existing literature exploring applications potential benefits of for individuals chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). A search six databases, including PubMed, Medline, ScienceDirect, Web Science, Ebsco, ProQuest, was conducted identify different studies COPD patients. The search, updated November 2024, yielded 2835 results, from which 18 diverse on this topic were included. publications included qualitative analysis published 2019-2024. These 6 systematic reviews meta-analyses, 4 mixed-methods studies, 3 observational conference papers, 2 trials. Among these, 11 investigated efficacy VR-assisted training enhancing lung function, exercise endurance, physical activity levels Additionally, 7 explored impact depression, anxiety, stress patients COPD. Lastly, 8 assessed acceptability, usability, or feasibility In conclusion, revealed that interventions led positive outcomes patients, improving physiotherapeutic parameters, quality life, psychological well-being. Patients found programs acceptable easy use, increasing motivation adherence treatment. The extracted evidence synthesized to propose strategic facilitate adoption oncology. A total five key were identified: (1) increasing funding research development, (2) training programs healthcare professionals, (3) expanding patient access through financial support mechanisms, (4) establishing clinical (5) developing These recommendations aim bridge gap between technological advancements their practical implementation cancer Integrating requires coordinated effort among policymakers, institutions developers. By implementing evidence-based strategies, stakeholders can enhance access, improve outcomes ensure sustainable
