Groundwater is a vital natural resource that plays critical role in sustaining agriculture, forest ecosystems, industry, and household uses. However, due to anthropogenic factors, groundwater facing alarming declines. Therefore, this study aimed assess the potential zones (PGWZ) north-eastern Bengal Basin of Bangladesh between 1990 2021 using satellite images, public field data pertaining ten environmental parameters. The utilized analytical hierarchy process identify PGWZ evaluated effectiveness machine learning (ML) algorithms (K-nearest neighbors, support vector machine, XGBoost, decision tree, random forest) for classification. findings indicated decline over decades, which was categorized into five distinct based on relative potential. very high decreased from 2.19% 1.3%, 34.57% 28.24%, while there sharp increase poor status (very low, medium zones) same periods. accuracy kappa coefficients ground validation estimated map were 84.34% 79.61%, respectively. According accuracy, precision, recall, f1-score, ML models are reliable predictors PGWZ. RF achieved highest 92.33%, XGBoost an 90.31%. Both demonstrated superior prediction performance normalized leverage factor. attributes alteration changes land use covers, increased surface temperatures, rainfall, soil erosion region three decades. results offer valuable insights decision-makers make informed decisions sustainable responsible management resources.

The usability of black pine (Pinus nigra Arnold) in both monitoring the changes concentrations silver (Ag), selenium (Se), antimony (Sb), and thallium (Tl), reducing soil or air pollution was investigated. Nowadays, the applications of nanotechnology are increasing in various fields such as information technology, energy, medical sector, and agriculture. Nanotechnology has proved its ability to solve problems agriculture related industries. Establishing impact nanoparticles on ecosystems become a primary research topic, but studies forest trees quite limited. This study examined effects silver germination parameters oriental beech seeds established their toxic threshold values. Silver were applied at concentrations 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000 mg/L (Fagus orientalis) collected from 10 different populations order identify rate, percentage, seedling height, root collar diameter, plumula length, radicle thickness, length parameters. The results revealed that have negative effect seeds, this is clearly seen rate 20 levels characters starting 60 dose, causing decrease 13% 24% 40% 30% length. Kahramanmaras-Andirin population was found be most affected by nanoparticles, while Bursa-Inegol Ordu-Akkus least affected.

Aim of the study: In process global climate change (GCC), migration mechanism needed especially for forest trees must be provided by humans. For this purpose, contrary to previous studies, detailed studies carried out on small areas are needed. Area present study in Kastamonu Regional Directorate Forestry, which performs highest level wood production Türkiye, it was aimed specify actual distribution Abies and their suitable due GCC. Material methods: study, besides existing potential future areas, also were determined using SSP 126, 370, 585 scenarios years 2040, 2070, 2100 at Kastamonu. Main results: The results achieved there showed that, depending change, populations would form an increase general. Research highlights: This species (Abies) seems incapable keeping up with such changes without human intervention. Thus, considering results, is recommended make necessary amendments management plans.

Global climate change poses significant threats to ecosystems worldwide, particularly impacting long-lived forest tree species such as Pinus nigra. This study assessed the potential shifts in distribution areas for nigra, an important species, one highly vulnerable global change, given its prevalence continental climates, Türkiye under different scenarios (SSPs 585 and 245). In this study, suitable regions of nigra were evaluated based on SSPs 245 using nine models. Results indicated losses ranging from 15.0% 43.5% 245) 19.7% 48.9% 585) by 2100. However, 2100, new are expected be formed at rates 13.8% 32.1% 15.1% 34.4% according above scenarios. Vegetation net primary productivity (NPP) plays an important role in investigating carbon cycle and NPP provided by forest constitutes the main component of terrestrial vegetation NPP. Since late 1990s, a series policies for protecting have been implemented Heilongjiang Province, China, directly leading to continuous change area growth environment. As result, analysis spatiotemporal characteristics after implementation protection was conducted this study, influencing factors distribution heterogeneity also compared quantitatively, aiming reveal changing large over longer time span. In multi-source data including MOD17A3 product, meteorological data, topographic land-use selected, then from 2001 2020 were analyzed through commonly-used indices methods. Finally, study quantitatively analyzed.
