Sports-related
concussions
(SRC)
pose
risks

Abstract
Introduction:
The
prevalence
of
psychiatric
disorders
has
not
shifted
widely
through
the
COVID
pandemic,
except
for
some
specific
groups
such
as
young
people
or
women.
Our
objective
is
to
examine
prospectively
evolution
children
and
adolescents
who
consulted
in
a
emergency
service
during
COVID-19
confinements.
Method:
We
collected
prospective
clinical
information
about
296
under
18
visited
tertiary
hospital
reasons
confinement
periods
Spain.
Clinical
diagnoses,
suicide
attempts,
admissions,
pharmacological
prescriptions
were
extracted
from
electronic
health
records
2020,
2021,
2022.
Features
those
maintained
care
did
compared.
Results:
Three
out
four
department
confinements
continued
at
end

showed
better
premorbid
adjustment
baseline.
During
follow-up,
diagnoses

disorders,
