This study examines the potential for long-term sustainable development in highly developed and sophisticated economies by analyzing N-shaped environmental Kuznets curve relationship between economic complexity index ecological footprint of five largest European from 1994 to 2020. It also assesses joint impact R&D expenditure, renewable energy consumption, taxation, moderating effect effort-economic linkage on complexity-ecological nexus. Long-run estimation was conducted using Driscoll-Kraay standard error estimators. Subsequently, panel-corrected errors robustness test performed. The results confirm existence EKC reveal a significant inverse taxation their footprint. expenditure dampening is validated, indicating pathways toward sustainability. Therefore, when considered together, enhancing taxes, can alleviate depletion complex analyzed. These findings have essential policy implications.

The COP26 Glasgow conference stressed the importance of all nations committing to more ambitious targets for reducing emissions keep global temperatures from rising than 1.5 °C above pre-industrial levels. This is crucial since any temperature greater that will have grave and irreversible climatic repercussions. research, utilizing data Ghana 1980 2018, investigates role green innovation, energy consumption, human capital in mitigating carbon dioxide (CO2) achieve neutrality within environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) framework while using natural resources industrialization as additional variables study model. Current econometric techniques are employed accurate reliable analyses, findings reveal stationary co-integrated long run. novel quantile-on-quantile regression adopted, empirical discoveries mitigate CO2 emissions. However, indicate escalate country. also validate N-shape EKC hypothesis between economic growth Ghana. Policy recommendations offered based on these insights.

Since the ECOWAS region is most susceptible to climate change, factors driving change and policy processes are pressuring authorities in take more action fight against change. In light of this, paper investigates role financial development, globalization, renewable energy, economic growth, industrialization reducing environmental degradation framework N-shaped Kuznets curve hypothesis. Second generation econometric techniques, Driscoll-Kraay panel regression approach quantile estimation techniques were developed based on a dataset 10 countries from 1990 2019. From analyses, EKC validated for region. Moreover, empirical analysis suggests that lower levels associated with increased development energy usage. Globalization have deleterious impact quality. Pakistan is in a terrifying and devastating energy crisis. Recently, the prediction for consumption has intensified compared to its production capacity, which problematic Pakistan's social economic stability. Hence, it vital examine link between power consumption, prices, urban transition, other electricity use, expansion from 1970 2018 Pakistan. For analysis, second-generation econometric technique of Lee Strazicich (2013), novel Augmented Autoregressive Distributed Lag (AARDL), Frequency Domain Causality (FDC) useful detect long-medium short-run association among variables. The results show that stimulates short long-run, though rise prices declines activity long-run. Policy strategies to foster climate-change resilient ecosystems require broad-based identification of the mechanisms underlying nexus. Prior investigations, maybe, inadvertently left so many factors unverified. Failing verify, specifically, how climate change is influenced by public-funded research and development (R&D) on energy efficiencies, renewables, nuclear energy, power storage technologies concealed vital policy insights. We have analyzed a panel series aforementioned stretching from 1985 2021 in context G10 countries. Several innovative techniques robust cross-national exigencies were implemented. This includes two recently introduced third-generation unit-root procedures, Banerjee Carrion-i-Silvestre cointegration process, fully-generalized least square, panel-corrected standard error, Driscoll-Kray errors, dynamic common correlated effects estimator. Long-run elasticities informed that total R&D expenditure green-technologies more effective mitigating energy-induced emissions than overall surface temperature. energies performed better minifying both metrics storage. Fossil fuel remained inimical environmental sustainability. Energy-tax promoted quality significantly reducing It commendable invest energy-enhancing but other direct bearing deserve consideration.

Abstract This study aims to investigate the impact of eco‐friendly technology on environmental degradation indicated using load capacity factor (LCF) with framework Load Capacity Curve (LCC) hypothesis. In this regard, an function is formed and analyzed Augmented Autoregressive Distributed Lag (AARDL) approach during period spanning from 1975 2021 for India. The outcome indicates that reduces LCF, thereby fostering in long run, but relationship not significant short run. Further, N‐shaped LCC hypothesis has been observed both runs. Besides, energy consumption exhibits a LCF reducing or boosting role run These findings are consistent other models used check robustness AARDL‐based results. Thus, recommends policies promoting technology, judicious economic growth, cautious attain sustainable development by increasing
