ABSTRACT This study investigates the impact of environmental and economic factors on carbon emissions (CAR) in China from 2007 to 2020, considering Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis. We employ MM‐QR approach analyze asymmetric relationships between Green Total Factor Productivity (GTFP), Fiscal Expenditure Technology (FTE), Innovation (GTI), Level (INN), Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Human Capital (HC), (CAR). Findings reveal that GTFP, FTE, GTI, INN exert significant negative impacts cCAR, with these effects strengthening at higher quantiles. suggests advancements green technology fiscal policies promoting technologies contribute reduced emissions. Conversely, GDP exhibits a positive association CAR, potentially reflecting initial stages EKC. 2 is also positively associated, indicating potential turning point towards degradation income levels. Based results, proposes policy recommendations enhance ecological well‐being achieve net‐zero These include fostering human capital development for skilled labor sectors, adoption technologies, increasing expenditure research (R&D). contributes field management by providing empirical evidence effectiveness technological reducing The findings offer valuable insights policymakers aiming sustainable similar economies.

The study on the link concerning FDI and environmental emissions has been interest in recent economics subject. of this research work is to dynamically understand effect South Africa. applied renowned Markov-switching regression explore association among variables. Prior formal estimation, data were subjected a linearity test, non-linear unit root test cusum so ascertain whether variables conform non-linearity modeling. results demonstrated that both regimes (lower or higher emissions), influence positive statistically significant. This finding implies foreign investment detrimental our environment, irrespective regime changes. supports Pollution Haven Hypothesis (PHH). Furthermore, show Africa stay low high for short period between one two years. Policy implications are economic climate change policy makers should start regulate be environmentally friendly.

In a highly volatile environment, strengthening resilience is essential for businesses to promote sustainable development, and environmental information disclosure (EID), as crucial approach companies actively practice the concept of green has far-reaching impacts on enhancement corporate (CR). To explore ways efficiently enhance sustainability enterprises, this research, based asymmetry theory, investigates how EID affects CR, using data from China’s A-share-listed between 2011 2022. The study indicates that effect CR was significantly positive at 1% level. Mediation analysis suggests facilitated by heightened investor attention enhanced innovation. Additionally, impact more pronounced firms in high uncertainty environments, levels legalization, digital transformation, non-state-owned firms, small-scale growth or decline. Based this, great significance policymakers, business managers, investors should take into account their own development situation actual make scientific decisions according local conditions.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects economic growth, nuclear energy consumption, renewable and hydropower consumption on environmental degradation within framework LCC Hypothesis in BRICS countries during period 1993-2022. This aims make a significant contribution literature by simultaneously discussing hydropower, nuclear, load capacity factor addition for first time. Due autocorrelation heteroscedasticity problem, FGLS (Feasible Generalized Least Square) method was used estimated model. According empirical findings, hypothesis not valid sample group countries. It determined that increases factor, whereas decreases factor. No relationship found between These findings provide important information about strategies sustainability.

Abstract This study examines the relationship between biodiversity expenditures, agriculture‐forestry‐fisheries sectors, renewable energy, economic growth, ecological footprint, and load capacity factor for The Netherlands from 1995 to 2019 in context of environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) (LCC) hypotheses. variables is investigated using a novel Fourier‐based Augmented ARDL approach. Our results indicate long‐term green factor. In long run, reveal that energy do not contribute sustainability. other words, biodiversity, policies implemented improve Again, findings confirm EKC hypothesis valid Netherlands, whereas LCC valid. line with study's findings, need be reviewed.
