Phosphorus (P) and iron (Fe) are two essential mineral nutrients in plant growth. It is widely observed that interactions of P Fe could influence their availability soils affect homeostasis plants, which has received significant attention recent years. This review presents a summary latest advances the activation insoluble Fe-P complexes by soil properties, microorganisms, plants. Furthermore, we elucidate physiological molecular mechanisms underlying how plants adapt to interactions. also discusses current limitations potential avenues for promoting sustainable agriculture through optimization utilization efficiency crops.

Abstract MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short, non-coding RNAs that regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. In plants, miRNAs participate in diverse developmental processes and adaptive responses to biotic abiotic stress. MiR827 has long been recognized be involved plant phosphate starvation. rice, miR827 regulates of OsSPX-MFS1 OsSPX-MFS2, these genes encoding vacuolar transporters. this study, we demonstrated plays a role resistance infection by fungus Magnaporthe oryzae rice. We show MIR827 overexpression enhances susceptibility M. which is associated weaker induction defense during pathogen infection. Conversely, CRISPR/Cas9-induced mutations completely abolish production confer This accompanied reduction leaf Pi content compared wild-type whereas levels increase leaves blast-susceptible overexpressor plants. accumulation decreases biotrophic phase process. Taken together, our data indicates silencing confers rice while further supporting interconnections between signaling immune Unravelling provides knowledge improve blast CRISPR/Cas9-editing MIR827.

Abstract Phosphorus (P) is a non-renewable resource that limits plant productivity due to its low bioavailability in the soil. Large amounts of P fertilizer are required sustain high yields, which both inefficient and hazardous environment. Plants have evolved various adaptive responses cope with external availability, including mobilizing cellular through phosphate (P i ) transporters recycling from P-containing biomolecules maintain homeostasis. This mini-review summarizes current research on intracellular mobilization response availability. We introduce roles metabolic enzymes expand their gene regulation mechanisms. The relevance these processes search for targets improve phosphorus use efficiency some challenges gaps our understanding starvation discussed.

Plants are constantly exposed to abiotic and biotic stresses that seriously affect crop yield quality. A coordinated regulation of plant responses combined abiotic/biotic requires crosstalk between signaling pathways initiated by each stressor. Interconnected further finetune stress allow the respond such effectively. The nutritional status might influence disease resistance strengthening or weakening immune responses, as well through modulation pathogenicity program in pathogen. Here, we discuss advances our understanding interactions nutrient stress, deficiency excess, context current agricultural practices. introduction chemical fertilizers pesticides was a major component Green Revolution 1960s greatly boosted production. However, massive application agrochemicals also has adverse consequences on environment animal/human health. Therefore, an in-depth connections caused overfertilization (or low bioavailability nutrients) is timely novel field research with important implications for control species. Optimizing management practices tailored specific environmental conditions will be crucial maximizing production using environmentally friendly systems.

Phosphorus (P) is a critical macronutrient for plant growth, but its limited availability requires efficient utilization strategies. The excessive use of P fertilizers leads to low phosphorus efficiency (PUE), causing severe environmental impacts and speeding up the exhaustion mineral reserves. Plants respond inorganic phosphate (Pi) deficiency through complex signaling pathways that trigger changes in gene expression, root architecture, metabolic enhance acquisition efficiency. By exploring interplay between genetic regulators microorganisms, cultivars with superior PUE traits can be developed, which will ensure agricultural resilience productivity face depleting global We highlight synergistic interaction microorganisms boost as well recent advancements unraveling molecular mechanisms governing homeostasis plants, emphasizing urgency improve improved utilization.
