This study aims to develop new quaternary ammonium salt-based antimicrobial materials with good biocompatibility, biosafety, and strong properties that promote wound healing in infected wounds. First, four salt antibacterial fibers (QASAF) are constructed: QASAF-C12, QASAF-C14, QASAF-C16, QASAF-C18, varying carbon chain lengths of C12, C14, C16, C18, respectively. Then, their structure is characterized by proton nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) analysis hemolytic cytotoxic also investigated. QASAFs then evaluated for vivo vitro performance against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) methicillin-resistant (MRSA). Finally, the effect QASAF on promoting wounds using mouse models S. MRSA. The obtained results suggest non-toxic cells 25–125 µg/mL concentration range, slightly hemolytic, has a biosafety profile. QASAF-C18 shows best significant pro-healing effects QASAF-C12 exhibits MRSA effects. novel ammonium-based material provides reference developing biocompatible dressings.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is still spreading all over the world. Although China quickly brought severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) under control in 2020, sporadic outbreaks have recurred from time to time. Outbreaks since June 2020 suggested that imported cold food supply chain a major cause for recurrence and spread of COVID-19. Here we review recurrent March 2021, analyse main causes transmission by port fork. Contaminated or packaging material can transmit virus through 'person-to-thing-to-person', contrast with classical 'person-to-person' pathway. The Coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) pandemics, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronaviruses, SARS-CoV-2, represent an unprecedented public health challenge. Beside person-to-person contagion via airborne droplets and aerosol, which is the main SARS-CoV-2's route of transmission, alternative modes, including transmission fomites, food packaging, have been investigated for their potential impact on SARS-CoV-2 diffusion. In this context, several studies demonstrated persistence RNA and, in some cases, infectious particles exposed water samples, confirming possible role as sources contamination transmission. Indeed, fomite-to-human has a few cases where had excluded. addition, recent supported possibility acquiring COVID-19 through fecal-oro route; occurrence gastrointestinal infections, absence symptoms, also opens intriguing that these could be directly related to ingestion contaminated water.
