Abstract
It
is
known
that
network
modifying
ions
(such
as
alkali
or
alkaline
earth
ions)
make
glasses
susceptible
to
aqueous
corrosion,
resulting
in
the
alteration
of
their
surface
layers.
However,
effect
altered
layers
on
mechanical
properties
has
not
been
well
understood.
In
this
work
we
study
using
pharmaceutical
boroaluminosilicate
(BAS)
objects
by
performing
nano-
and
macroscale
tests.
The
results
show
extending
corrosion
time
increases
thickness
layer
BAS
glass.
water-related
species
lowers
nanohardness,
reduced
modulus,
nanowear
resistance
Vickers
hardness.
corrosion-induced
“silica-like”
structure
benefits
densification
subsurface
caused
nanoindentation
nanowear,
thereby
enhances
fracture
toughness
correlation
between
water
content
revealed.
This
instrumental

Over
the
past
decade,
therapeutic
potential
of
nanomaterials
as
novel
drug
delivery
systems
complementing
conventional
pharmacology
has
been
widely
acknowledged.
Among
these
nanomaterials,
lipid-based
nanoparticles
(LNPs)
have
shown
remarkable
pharmacological
performance
and
promising
outcomes,
thus
gaining
substantial
interest
in
preclinical
clinical
research.
In
this
review,
we
introduce
main
types
LNPs
used
formulations
such
liposomes,
nanoemulsions,
solid
lipid
nanoparticles,
nanostructured
carriers,
polymer
hybrid
focusing
on
their
physicochemical
properties
potential.
We
discuss
computational
studies
modeling
techniques
to
enhance
understanding
how
interact
with
cargo
predict
effectiveness
interactions
applications.

Vaccines
are
undoubtedly
a
powerful
weapon
in
our
fight
against
global
pandemics,

their

history,
current
indicators
(TTIs)
suffer
from
limited
reliability
and
stability,

difficulty

ranges,

susceptibility
photobleaching.
Herein,
we
develop
class
of
structural
color
materials
that
harnesses
dual
merits
fluidic
nature
color,
enabling
thermal-triggered
visible
destruction
based
on
triggering
agent-diffusion-induced
irreversible
disassembly
liquid
colloidal
photonic
crystals
for
indicating
history
These
self-destructive
liquids
(SCLs)
exhibit
inherent
irreversibility,
superior
sensitivity,
tunable
time
(minutes
days),
wide
range
(−70
+37
°C).
Such
SCLs
can
be
conveniently
packaged
into
flexible
TTIs
monitoring
storage
exposure
status
diverse
vaccines
via
naked-eye
inspection
mobile
