An economy based on renewable energy sources is the hallmark of responsible companies. Climate policy and crisis commitments have led to a search for alternative ways produce energy. Bioenergy considered most consistent source due its economic environmental benefits. Biogas biomethane are promising forms derived from widely available evergreen raw materials. Agricultural, animal, industrial food wastes excellent substrates used clean sustainable in circular context. Their conversion into biogas through anaerobic digestion (AD) process an efficient solution treatment waste different origins. The production use favor important advantages, such as reduction greenhouse gas emissions compared with those deriving conventional fossil fuels. This review would like highlight modern trends approaches evaluate processes strategies control production. In particular, livestock reuse by-product fertilizer, well potential development prospects improvement optimization sources, discussed.

Achieving renewable clean energy to meet increasing global demand and counter overreliance on depleting unsustainable sources has recently drawn significant research interest. Similarly, attain the sustainable development goals (SDGs) "zero hunger" agenda, massive agricultural/food productions are embarked on, leading increased agro-food waste (AFW) generation with enormous handling costs evade its contribution environmental pollution. The advent of biorefineries fostered a healthy balance for tackling challenges from AFW – thereby promoting circular bioeconomy (CBE). Integrating several emerging microbial/enzymatic bioconversion processes facilitated overall increase in process efficiency. This review, therefore, provides extensive information ecological impacts AFW, as well biorefinery sustainability. We also critically reviewed advances integrated engineering valorization. Finally, limitations prospects real-life application these recent approaches were suggested.

Carbon dioxide (CO2), which results from fossil fuel combustion and industrial processes, accounts for a substantial part of the total anthropogenic greenhouse gases (GHGs). As result, several carbon capture, utilization storage (CCUS) technologies have been developed during last decade. Chemical absorption, adsorption, cryogenic separation membrane are most widely used post-combustion CO2 capture technologies. This study reviews latest progress in processes separation. More specifically, objective present work is to state art membrane-based flue focuses mainly on recent advancements commonly employed materials. These materials utilized fabrication application novel composite membranes or mixed-matrix (MMMs), improved intrinsic surface characteristics and, thus, can achieve high selectivity permeability. Recent described regarding metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), molecular sieves (CMSs), nanocomposite membranes, ionic liquid (IL)-based facilitated transport (FTMs), comprise MMMs. The significant challenges future prospects implementing also presented.
