The purpose of this study is to investigate the Omani digital entrepreneurial ecosystem (EE) and its effect on opportunity recognition action. Using a descriptive methodology, data were collected from 109 nascent entrepreneurs who are at stage launching their tech start-up companies. authors used SPSS analyzed data. finding confirmed that EE positively influences opportunities action entrepreneurship perspective. original contribution research offer an empirical investigation role played by not only in terms process but also capability move toward effective This offers theoretical practical implications for decisions makers recognition.

Herbivorous insects sustain their populations by oviposition. To reduce the damage caused herbivores, host plant triggers a defensive response upon detection of egg deposition. However, specific impact deposition time cotton bollworm Helicoverpa armigera (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), on tomato defense remains obscure.

The bethylid wasp Goniozus omanensis has been identified as a key natural enemy of Batrachedra amydraula Meyrick (Lepidoptera: Batrachedridae), an important pest date palm. Efficient rearing enemies can be part biological control programmes but cultures G. are challenging to maintain on B. amydraula. We evaluate two readily available species Pyralid moths, Corcyra cephalonica and Galleria mellonella, potential factitious hosts. find that develop the larvae either species, probability failure is circa 75% overall. Both trialled host were approximately equally suitable, failures typically during early stages brood production when presented with C. later mellonella. This suggests may more difficult suppress mellonella lower nutritional value. average adult parasitoids per provided was 1 and, given observed female biased sex ratio, number females around 0.8. suggest routes improving efficiency these
