This study addressed the structural health monitoring of civil engineering cable structures, in which single tension is key parameter influencing safe and intended behaviour. Traditional methods for force a are labour-intensive require direct interaction with cable. In contrast, proposed approach provides remote rapid assessment cables structures using only shape First, terrestrial laser scanner was used to acquire point cloud geometry from distance. Current cable-road layouts for timber harvesting in steep terrain are often based on either manual planning or automated generated from low-resolution GIS data, limiting potential benefits and informed decision-making. In this paper, we present a novel approach to improve design using multi-objective optimization realistic representations. Solar radiation is a major driver of forest ecosystems and affects the hydrological cycle energy balance. The vitality trees strongly depends on amount light input to individual trees, successful regeneration demands certain level solar radiation. Therefore, characterization regime inside plant canopy (i.e., quantification timing penetration) particular importance. Because these parameters greatly depend 3D structure canopy, Light Detection Ranging (LiDAR) systems provide suitable technology for solving this task. In study, an algorithm was developed estimate potential reaching floor from point cloud collected in temperate mixed located Lanzenkirchen (Lower Austria) using terrestrial LiDAR. path length through calculated 40 inventory plots as distance between first last hit along sun ray, that is, each day during vegetation period at hourly resolution.
