The development of obesity is associated with substantial modulation adipose tissue (AT) structure. plasticity the AT reflected by its remarkable ability to expand or reduce in size throughout adult lifespan, which linked vasculature. This increase vasculature could be mediated differentiation tissue-derived stem cells (ASCs) into endothelial (ECs) and form new microvasculature. We have already shown that microRNA (miRNA)-145 regulates ASCs EC-like (ECL) cells. Here, we investigated whether ASCs-differentiation ECs governed a miRNAs signature depends on fat depot location /or metabolic condition produced obesity. Human ASCs, were obtained from white surgical procedures lean obese patients, induced differentiate ECL identified miRNA-29b-3p both subcutaneous (s)ASCs visceral miRNA-424-5p miRNA-378a-3p are involved These modulate their pro-angiogenic effects targeting FGFR1, NRP2, MAPK1, TGF-β2, MAPK signaling pathway. show for first time upregulation contributes ASCs’ directly TGFB2 sASCs ASCs. Moreover, our results reveal that, independent sASCs’ origin (obese/lean), downregulation inhibit MAPK1 overexpress FGFR1 respectively. In multicellular organisms, angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels from pre-existing ones, is an essential process for growth and development. Different mechanisms such as vasculogenesis, sprouting, intussusceptive, coalescent well vessel co-option, vasculogenic mimicry lymphangiogenesis, underlie vasculature. many pathological conditions, cancer, atherosclerosis, arthritis, psoriasis, endometriosis, obesity SARS-CoV-2(COVID-19), developmental angiogenic processes are recapitulated, but often done so without normal feedback that regulate ordinary spatial temporal patterns formation. Thus, angiogenesis presents challenges yet opportunities design vascular-directed therapies. Here, we provide overview recent insights into development highlight novel therapeutic strategies promote or inhibit to stabilize, reverse, even halt disease progression. our review, will also explore several additional aspects (the switch, hypoxia, angiocrine signals, endothelial plasticity, normalization, cell anergy) operate in parallel canonical speculate how these may be targeted with anti-angiogenic

Adipose tissue (AT), composed mainly of adipocytes, plays a critical role in lipid control, metabolism, and energy storage. Once considered metabolically inert, AT is now recognized as dynamic endocrine organ that regulates food intake, homeostasis, insulin sensitivity, thermoregulation, immune responses. This review examines the multifaceted adiponectin, predominant adipokine released by AT, glucose fatty acid metabolism. We explore regulatory mechanisms its physiological effects potential therapeutic target for metabolic diseases such type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease liver disease. Furthermore, we analyze impact various dietary patterns, specific nutrients, physical activities on adiponectin levels, highlighting strategies to improve health. Our comprehensive provides insights into functions importance maintaining systemic homeostasis.

ABSTRACT Inadequate angiogenesis in obesogenic adipose tissue (AT) has been implicated disrupted adipogenesis and metabolic disorders. Yet, key cellular molecular regulators of AT remain largely unidentified. This study sought to identify the dysregulated elements within Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) Platelet-Derived (PDGF) systems during obesity progression. We employ a mouse model, comprising both male female mice, investigate changes VEGF/PDGF concentration their receptor distribution short- long-term weight gain loss. Our results reveal pronounced sex-specific differences progression, with mice exhibiting distinct angiogenic ligand profiles under identical dietary interventions. data also lays groundwork for developing computational models signaling networks AT, allowing simulation complex biological interactions prediction therapeutic outcomes.

White adipose tissue (AT) dysfunction plays an important role in the development of cardiometabolic alterations associated with obesity. AT is characterized by loss expansion capacity AT, increment adipocyte hypertrophy, and changes secretion profile cells, accumulation macrophages inflammation. Since not all people excess adiposity develop comorbidities, it necessary to find simple tools that can evidence allow detection those potential metabolic alterations. This review focuses on current pathophysiological mechanisms white emerging measurements assess its functionality.

Abstract The prevalence of obesity has tripled over the past five decades. Obesity, especially visceral obesity, is closely related to hypertension, increasing risk primary (essential) hypertension by 65%–75%. Hypertension a major factor for cardiovascular disease, leading cause death worldwide, and its rapidly following pandemic rise in obesity. Although causal relationship between high blood pressure (BP) well established, detailed mechanisms such association are still under research. For more than 30 years sympathetic nervous system (SNS) kidney sodium reabsorption activation, secondary insulin resistance compensatory hyperinsulinemia, have been considered as mediators elevated BP However, experimental clinical data show that severe hyperinsulinemia can occur absence BP, challenging key linking hypertension. purpose Part 1 this review summarize available on recently emerging believed contribute obesity-related through increased volume expansion, as: physical compression perirenal/intrarenal fat overactivation systemic/renal SNS renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system. role hyperleptinemia, impaired chemoreceptor baroreceptor reflexes, perivascular also discussed. Specifically targeting these may pave way new therapeutic intervention treatment context ‘precision medicine’ principles, which will be discussed 2.

Chronic wounds represent nowadays a major challenge for both clinicians and researchers in the regenerative setting. Obesity represents one of comorbidities patients affected by chronic ulcers therefore diverse studies aimed at assessing possible links between these two morbid conditions are currently ongoing. In particular, adipose tissue has recently been described as having metabolic endocrine functions rather than serving mere fat storage deposit. this setting, adipose-derived stem cells, peculiar subset mesenchymal stromal/stem cells (MSCs) located tissue, have demonstrated to possess immunological with key role regulating adipocyte function skin regeneration. The aim present review is give an overview most recent findings on wound healing, special focus biology obesity.
