In
the
contemporary
landscape,
college
students
have
emerged
as
a
demographic
increasingly
vulnerable
to
AIDS.
Recognizing
that
heightened
awareness
and
progressive
attitudes
toward
HIV
are
pivotal
in
its
prevention,
this
study
was
conceived
with
intent
meticulously
evaluate
level
of
understanding
amongst
students,
gauge
their
sentiments
people
living
(PLHIV),
scrutinize
factors
influencing
these
perceptions.

Novel
smartphone
app-delivered
interventions
have
the
potential
to
improve
HIV
treatment
adherence
among
adolescents
with
HIV,
although
such
are
limited.
Our
team
has
developed
Masakhane
Siphucule
Impilo
Yethu
(MASI;
Xhosa
for
"Let's
empower
each
other
and
our
health"),
a
intervention
in
South
Africa.
MASI
was
adapted
African
cultural
context
using
HealthMpowerment
platform,
an
evidence-based
digital
health
youth

States.We
conducted
this
beta-testing
study

explore
initial
usability
of
MASI,
(2)
examine
engagement
experiences
features,

inform
refinements

implementation

pilot
randomized
controlled
trial

Abstract
Introduction
Peer
delivery
is
a
client‐centred
approach
that
could
maximize
the
coverage
and
impact
of
HIV
services
for
transgender
women
(TGW).
We
conducted
qualitative
interviews
to
examine
how
peer‐delivered
self‐testing
(HIVST),
sexually
transmitted
infection
self‐sampling
(STISS)
oral
pre‐exposure
prophylaxis
(PrEP)
influenced
prevention
choices
among
TGW
their
intimate
partners
in
Uganda.
Methods
Within
cluster
randomized
trial
HIVST,
STISS
PrEP
HIV‐negative
(NCT04328025),
